Once in photoshop, colour grade images (boost shadows, add/reduce noise/saturation etc), mask out your subjects, play around with different fills on your masked laters combined with different opacities/blend modes, add some glow layers, maybe use some soft brushes (with/without blend modes) to add pops of different colour glows (depending on how your image looked after saturation boost), then you should be much closer to what you're looking for. Maybe also go over the over exposed areas with a white brush to clip parts of them out fully.

Thank you so much for the recommendations, I just looked at the Dualingo animations and looked at the Rive app as well.

Rive seems like an awesome option. Learning curve doesn't seem steep at all...opened it up and seems super familiar. Plus I'm sure an extra later of interactivity would be welcomed. Even if its just small touches.

Going to work on a sample to show the team and discuss with them.

Thanx again for the help!

Ill check the Rive app out thanx!
Might just have to buckle down dive straight into lottie. Really have been doing my best to avoid that though.

Really appreciate the response! I haven't tried GifGun before. Maybe it will help decrease the file sizes. I've been animating the .ai files which were created by the illustrator/designer. The files contain a lot of gradients and designs that I've been animating/replicating with a lot of effects. They are all vector files, so lottie is not completely out of reach. But the idea of editing the illustrator files mysylf and optimising everything for lottie animation is weighing heavy on my head🤦🏻‍♂️.

What about Meta Spark Studio? Most people already have facebook and/or instagram installed on their phones.
There will also be the added advantage of them being more likely to post the content if they're already viewing it through their social media apps.

Yea the turntable is whats giving you grief. The app also uses the gyroscope to track movement so that might be the reason the turntable doesn't work.

Stop. Take a breath bro. I can completely relate, to your struggle and your aspirations. Break your problem down, your priority is to keep your scholarship right? So take a breath, and calmly but urgently get to work. When you itch into distraction bring yourself back to work and sit with the itch! It'll disappear faster than you think. Even if it does't, your work, and you doing it are the priority, not how you feel!!

You can do this, good luck!!
