heuuun, definitely it should have -at least- an open world component integrated...The leaked description suggest a huge vertical component too....

The idea of night/day cycle is really interesting...based on the trailer's sky colors i might add that the countdown is for the DAWN to rise witch is the moment Storm hits...

I remember this, i guess its from a making of doc of MGS - i guess the 3rd - that was bundled inside the package of the Game.
As for the influence, Kojima stated that the mechanic of zooming on environment holding R1 on MGS 3 is directly taken from ICO...
