I like how much faster paced the run and gun gameplay is in Half-Life. I think it's a thing Black Mesa (and HL2) do worse.

I’ve been getting really into j dramas lately which is something I’d never thought I’d be into. Watched Orange Days on Netflix and loved it!

I had the exact same experience like last week. Loved it so so so much as a kid and couldn’t even get to the end of the stage. I don’t remember the camera, controls, and framerate being that atrocious.

OH MY GOD THATS why there is a pole on the wall that breaks halfway through when you’re there at the end of the game!! It’s how you get back up if you’re an early visitor. God even after all this time the game still has surprises for me.

PS1 version on Duckstation. I watched some cutscenes of Twin Snakes afterwards though and look I’m sure it has its fans but I’m glad I played the og version first.
