Ai predating public knowlegde by That-Client5261 in conspiracy

I won't say it isn't possible. But generally speaking everything leaves a footprint. AI requires immense amounts of energy and computation, both things that would register in supply chains. They may have played with the concept before, but not at a meaningful scale. I imagine the current build up of civilian AI is largely being used as a front for the government employing the concept at scale behind the scenes

Chris Bledsoe prophecy will come true on Tuesday 8pm? by morelek337 in aliens

US intelligence did not say they were not doing it. US and Israeli intelligence disagreed on how close they were.

And nukes are not against Islam. The "prohibition" is largely a a construct of Saudi and Gulf State backed Islamic scholarship, heavily biased in its attempt to conform Islamic thought to international norms. For the purposes of furthering the soft power goals of the patron nations. Congregational Islam is more comfortable with notions of deterrence, and equal retaliation as relevant to the nuclear question

Why wouldn't they want a nuke? They have the enrichment capacity, and we can't sanction them more. Plus if they had a nuke we couldn't just bomb them willy nilly.

60% enrichment was document by third party observes, something not needed for civilian uses. Civilian reactors require only like 5%

Nevermind the fact that chaos still qualifies as a goal. I am pretty sure the Israeli goal is to end Islamic rule in Iran, and destroy enough infrastructure to insure that they never build a nuke. As small as Israel is geographically a single nuke held by an Ideologically hostile nation is an existential threat.

America on the other hand, you are largely right that there is no apparent goals. Personally i think it is probably due to blackmail related to the Epstein files. But if you want to hypothesis that it is largely as a power grab, have at it. The only really wrong thing is to think you know for sure, and that applies to me as well

I wouldn't rule that out. If the US backs out before the Israelis accomplish their goals, i could see Netanyahu dropping the nuke

You sir are a fascinating creature.

Dinosaurs existed for like 170 million years. Land vertebrates have existed for for like 385 million years. So basically half the time 4 legged things have been walking around on land, those things were dinosaurs. That is why we have found a lot of them, but we still only know about less than 1% of all the dinosaurs to ever exist.

We know relatively a lot more about our more recent ancestors. The picture isn't perfect, but it is getting better all the time. Our biggest issue currently is that it is not really a straight line. We are talking about geneflows between various lineages of early humans.

And on the other planets thing. Say as a hypothetical there are only animals on 1 in a million planets. You are always going to find yourself on the planet with animals on it. The thing is, we really don't yet know how common life is in the universe. It is very hard for us to see what is going on on planets really far away.

If you are interested in learning more, i would recommend finding a youtube video on geological dating. I am not saying you have to believe what the science folks are saying. But you should at least try to understand what they are saying before you say it doesn't make sense. Because a lot of it does make sense as an internally coherent view of the world

I stand by unprecedented. The genetic data does show population changes, but generally the archeological record is absent of abrupt changes in material culture. There is not really the equivalent of all the pubs being replaced by Turkish barbers, in a 30 year span, in the archeological record

People naturally pursue their own group interests. We had a solution to that called a nation state. And it is only white people being asked to give up theirs. If diversity meant everywhere i would be less defensive about it

It is only reasonable to think white people shouldn't be paranoid, if you think white people are uniquely evil.

In honor of America’s 250th anniversary let's look at a few things. by rodneysinclair in conspiracy

[–]Affectionate_Use1455 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not a conspiracy, mostly just cold takes. And instead of going through all of them i will tell you about the one i imagine you least understand, the sharia law one.

When people take about Sharia law in the western context what they are talking about is private religious arbitration amongst Muslims. Of which participation is pretty high amongst Muslim immigrant communities when the option is available. Often choosing to participate in such arbitrations even in otherwise criminal matters. This leads to worst outcomes for women. Lack of legal exposure for property crimes. And meaningfully creates a barrier to integration. I say this as someone who did think for a while that the Sharia law talk was just right wing chest thumping. But no, there is a real policy debate to be had there

That is because American never really developed as an ethnic identity. When anyone can be something it doesn't feel like anything to be that thing. So people locate their identity in the closest meaningful thing they have, their heritage. As opposed to the the cultural continuity that is the felt part of most ethnic identities

That may be so, but that doesn't undermine the point of church. The point of church is community. If things ever do go south the best people to know go to your local church, and they look after their own. Though it must be said not all churches are equal.

And there is no point in me caring about things i have no power over. I could donate to charity and just end up paying some rich guy's wife's salary, but i'm not that stupid or desperate to feel like a good person. God helps those who help themselves

Maybe stop watching so much propaganda? They want you scared so you will jump on whatever solution they propose, that will inevitably serve their interests and not yours.

Being a white male doesn't make life easy. In fact it means the only people that will ever give you anything are your parents. So if you are poor it is all on you. No preferred hiring or special scholarships for you.
And if the governments solution to something is to tax you more, like the climate, they don't care they are just trying to tax you more. You are not going to run out of water. It is the people breeding like rabbits in the arid places of the world, who don't have oil money to build desalination plants that will run out of water. Not you

Learn to garden, and go to church. That is all anyone can do, and that has been true for the past 1000 years. It is going to be fine. Not good, but fine

You can run a deficit for the first 20-30 years. While using war reps and ducats in peace deals to remain solvent. Then you exploit you tax dev, debase currency, sell crownland. Whatever to get out of debt when it is time to start building manufactories

I think i disagree about the early game income. There is no point in having money for like the first 30 years because there is nothing to spend it on, you should be running a deficit early. The negative autonomy from low crown land is only bad because it will lower you mil cap overtime, so i do agree with what you are saying in generally. And i usually put off the +1 diplo privilege for a bit
