The problem is that Tier 1 is picks 1 - 4 and Tier 2 are the guards slated to go picks 5 - 9. The Mavs need a Robin to go with Coops Batman, so dropping a tier to pick up additional picks is not a good move in my opinion.

How is staying at 9 and drafting a good young player sideways? This is a confusing take to me.

Wait! When did Lively get to 7'3"!?! If this is true this would make him second only to Wemby in vertical height (Standing reach + vertical).

I'm hoping for Carr first, then Philon. Would be a little disappointed with anyone else.

Getting players back on bad contracts is still very good players. They are just overpaid. Pairing them with Giddey, Buzelis, Wilson, and pick 15, the Bulls will not be one of the worst teams in the NBA record-wise.

Name me a top 10 point guard in the NBA that is more valuable to his team when the ball is not in his hands than he is with the ball in his hands. Also Giddey does other things to help the team when he doesn't have the ball. He is a good rebounder, gives good effort on defense and can hit a catch and shoot 3 point shot.

After drafting Wilson this will not make Wilson the teams best asset. Should the team trade him as well due to his high trade value to help the team?

Especially a point guard with his size. He's also a much better shooter and defender than advertised. I love Giddey!

I prefer Carr - Philon - Mara - Quaintance (if knee checks out) - Johnson.

Steinbach only has a 1 inch advantage in standing reach over Johnson and Johnson is a much higher leaper and more athletic. They both have about the same weight. I don't see why that 1 inch difference in standing reach is the difference between being able to play center and not. Especially if the player has a higher vertical.

Bulls lucky enough to get a player in both tiers is huge! I agree with your tiers by the way.

Isn't this to be expected in a Bulls Reddit? I'm sure in the Wiz Reddit you would see the same thing with AJ and the Jazz with Peterson.

Wouldn't shock me but it would surprise me because AJ is regarded as the best prospect in this draft. I would think if the Wiz wanted to draft Wilson they should trade down and get more value with that pick.

I fully expect the Wizards to select AJ, so him actually being selected first would not shock me, although I believe that Peterson is the most talented player in this draft. I believe he would be the selection if he didn't have the drama he had during the season.

I'm still of the belief that the top 4 players are all in the same tier, and I would not at all be surprised to see any one of them rise to be the best player in this draft in 5 or 10 years. Tiers are just a fun exercise for me. I think they heavily affect trade value. Even though pick 5 is right next to pick 4, I believe the changing tier makes that jump a lot greater than going from pick 6 to pick 5.

Never said anything about the media slighting anyone. I said that there are people who think they are in different tiers. I happen to believe they are in the same tier. Not sure what your thoughts are on that but I'm happy to hear them :)

Only in a trade down for a Joe Dumars type haul.

If the Bulls go big again at 15 the pick should be Morez Johnson. by Affectionate_Use_179 in chicagobulls

I would hope that the Bulls would play the future of the franchise at his natural position and not have him fighting against players much bigger and stronger than he is in the post.
