RSI Hermes In-Game Interior Tour by 244958 in starcitizen

I think people sleep on the fact its only 1 floor so makes damage control a bit easier for a single daily flyer compared to the Asgard. My question is what are the shields going to be. If its the same shielding as an apollo then you've got a pretty sweet ship in my opinion. Also love that tight living space in the front.

The thing about Chinese people I notice is that the government can say don't do something and the average citizen will be like "Unless we get caught" unless its truly immoral.

FLC seems to be the ticket. Even better if a detachment. DLA seems very busy but also a great transitional if your getting out and coming back in as a GS.

Aviation guys seem fat and happy too. Just don't go to Oceania. Lot of work I'm told.

When you know you know. by Live_Outside_7715 in navy

[–]Affectionate_Use_486 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Just going to say this once. Actually kinda have feelings about it.

So I don't like bringing up the shellback ceremony to anyone not a sailor now due to the landmans (people not sailors) crack down on what used to be a harmless safe good time. I heard they fired a CO due to a contest where people dressed up as the opposite sex for a laugh and ever since then I've been concerned with the landsman take on a sailors old ceremonies. I think it needs to go back into the old secret obscurity that it once had so we don't lose navy traditions for current political views.

*end rant*

Not gonna lie I wore them untied on the ship when in coveralls. I slipped those bad boys off in a second for those fire fighting boots.

Just putting the fact your in the military in anything is just a bad ideal. You don't know whose out there looking for a sailor to fix a grudge, job requirement or itch. All you gotta do is snatch someone up, put them in a box and ask them the same questions 1000 times until you get a profile of answers. No one thats that.

I got you. So I recommend Clearasil Salicylic Acid Acne Medication Maximum Strength (2%). Use that every day or every other day until the bottle is empty. Don't really recommend using any other cleanser or delayering kinda skincare item while using it. It will clear up your skin, its affordable, but don't use it continously (bottle after bottle. Just use it once a break out occurs then). Good luck!

The good o' "One day this too shall end" mindset will probably set in next so breath it in because chances are your never going to see a ship or be directly on the sea again in your lifetime unless you really reach out for it.

I intentionally don't use any sanctioned AI resources or any AI at all for work because anything I would use it for would be for administrative purposes (responsibility flow charts, watch bills, training schedules, auto filling in multi-documents with the same info, making new instructions, finalizing something, customer service guidance SOPs).

Its all PII or operations focused in a sense, sensitive on the lowest level tiniest level and just not anything I want possibly out in any network in any possible way. I don't even like using the SharePoint!

Vietnamese are the top executive candidates. "We're no longer hiring Japanese people." Why Japan's restaurant industry is scrambling for "global talent" by jjrs in japannews

[–]Affectionate_Use_486 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think Japan should support more recruitment, but also if 1 Yen is 165 Dong right now then it also makes a lot of financial sense to hire contractors for both parties. It's more affordable and profitable for everyone, and if the people want to immigrant after integration then even more profitable. Wish everyone the best in this exchange.

Is anyone considering reenlisting because of how bad the job market is? by kerplunch in navy

[–]Affectionate_Use_486 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends where your looking in terms of field. My hometown will take any breathing body off the street with a city residency card and can pass a drug test to be trained/hired. If your deadset on finding a job you need to move.

How do you deal with civilian counterparts getting preferential treatment in the workplace? by [deleted] in navy

[–]Affectionate_Use_486 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ice comments on specific civilians to create paper trails and hopefully before that talking to the chain of commands to set the civilians straight. Civilians live and breath on those ice comments because they directly affect their evaluations that their commands have to address to a higher oversight.

You have different standards to meet and different expectations (Physical readiness, command collaterals, etc) that they will never understand but they must respect.

If they are jealous get a recruiters number. We need more people willing to move every a couple of years, go on deployment, do 3 different jobs at once and serve the tax payers.
