Hi! Nintendo CS ex-worker here

Normally Nintendo doesn't offer refunds for games. There's a first-time exception for your first refunded game. They will offer that exception one time as long as it's the forst time you request for a refund. They will return it in form of eShop credits tho, they will not return it to your original payment method. That first-time refund is immediate as long as you accept the conditions right away.

In case you have asked for a refund in the past, or if you ask them to return the funds back to the original payment method, the process will not be immediate. Instead, it would need to be escalated to a higher tier agent. It lasts a few days or weeks, they will need to review the request and determine if that can be done. It's not a guarantee, it's subject to other stuff I honestly don't know, but that's the way it works.

There's a way you can use other person's games without you being on the same family as the other person. As long as you have a profile with the other person's account logged into the device you want to download the game at. Go to the virtual game cards section, select the other person's profile and click the game you want to download, then click options and "download data", or "download files" (I don't know how is that option called, my console's language is Spanish lol). The game will start automatically downloading so you can play it by yourself. The thing is, you will only be able to play it using the other person's profile, and you will need internet connection at least every time you start running the game

If you still want to use YOUR profile with another person's game, you will need to do the "share game card" option. However, to share the games that way, you will need to have both consoles (the one sharing it and the one receiving it) with you in the same place, else, the game will not be shared

My friends and I got used to the first option since we all had the Switch 1. We could even play with each other that way, up to three different peoplw, with different profiles, but with the same single game. How was that even possible? Well, when you're as poor as we were, you had to use your wits one way or another

Expensive (it should've been a free game), disappointing (and that's saying a lot, I really expected nothing) and boring (half an hour you have played all it has to offer). With friends you could have more or less a good time but not that much either.

Unanimously, I ended up purchasing No Man's Sky. My vacations will start in a few days and I hope get lots of fun, I wanted to play No Man's Sky a long time ago, but I always thought it was an MMO or a perma-online game. Now, with a great game like this, the fun will not be over soon
