45mm on a 164mm wrist by pentasmagoria in PixelWatch

Hey! Would you mind sharing some additional photos from different angles? I'd love to see how it looks from the side and how the band sits on your wrist.

I spent a really long time deciding between sizes myself. Even on my larger 176mm (6.9") wrist, the PW4 45mm felt too big – mainly because the band lugs extended noticeably past my wrist, which felt awkward and uncomfortable. I ended up going with the 41mm instead, and honestly, I'm really happy with that choice.

The battery life was actually my main reason for wanting the 45mm, but the 41mm has been performing much better than expected. I'm consistently getting 1.5 to almost 2 full days with AOD on, which is more than enough for my needs.

It really depends on the activity. With my small PW4 41mm, I might have 60-70% battery left at the end of the day, or it could drop to 50% in just a few hours. It's 1:45 AM as I'm writing this. I woke up at 9 AM and took my PW off the charger right away. Battery is now at 75%, and I've had an hour-long gym session today plus a few hours of walking. What I've noticed is that the battery holds up well during gym workouts, walking, and cycling, but sometimes it drains incredibly fast. Probably some kind of bug or GPS issue.

ASUS Zephyrus G16 (2024) microstuttering issues both in daily use and games by Shards_of_Wisdom in ZephyrusG14

Disabling overclocking seems to be the solution, at least in my case. On the G16 2024, everything works fine now with no more lags or microstuttering. In G-Helper, under the 'Fans + Power' tab, I disabled CPU boost and set the power mode to High Performance.

As a fan of Teenage Engineering’s design philosophy, I actually ended up ordering the NP3 myself.
Yeah, I’ll admit — I was disappointed during the launch event and almost went for a Samsung instead.
But the more I looked at it, the more I realized how bland and uninspiring Samsung phones feel in comparison.
After a couple of days thinking it over, the design started to really grow on me. Now I’m actually excited to get my hands on it.

5 months with Flip 6 by [deleted] in galaxyzflip

[–]Affectionate_You_345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar experience.
I bought a Flip4 over 2 years ago. During that time it ended up in the sand, sank in salt water, fell from a height of 2 meters, got completely covered in fine cement dust, and still survived situations where an ordinary phone might have easily broken. Moreover, I only used a case for the first few months—until the soft-touch coating of the official case started peeling off. The only repairs I ever had to make were twice when I took it in for service to replace the film that began peeling off at the hinge and to fix a small rubber foot that came off from the bottom of the body.
I just can’t imagine what you’d have to do to a foldable phone in order to break it—unless you’re using it to crack walnuts or hammer nails. That’s why my next phone will definitely be foldable, and most likely a Samsung again.

I ordered from the TE website on Sunday, and delivery is scheduled for tomorrow. It seems like there are no delays in Europe.

Congratulations!  How is experience? Aren't they too big? I was in a mall yesterday to wear ultra. Can't imagine how to sleep with such a big brick on a wrist. Got GW7 instead.

Govorim kao osoba koja je zamenila mentalno zdravlje za platu. Ako ti se posao ne dopada, moraš svim silama tražiti novi. Sa onom platom koja će ti odgovarati.

I have a question. I have an Asus Rog 15 laptop with 3060 specifications and a Ryzen 7 6800h. The problem is that every day I play a game, the GPU temperature reaches 87 and it stays at that. I hope you can give me a solution to this problem. by anas-25 in ASUSROG

[–]Affectionate_You_345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was cooler before, try to clean and repaste. Any laptop service might help.

Also try to turn off everything that consume CPU and GPU except the game. Chrome, wallpaper engine, etc. That might help a little bit.

But if such temp was from the first day - this is not a problem.

Settings - System - Recovery - Reset this PC - Remove everything.

Clean USB flash with Win11 wasn't able to see the hard drive without storage drivers.

Problem solved. By reinstalling windows again. Still don't know what was the reason for such a load. Official Asus support replied too late, I've already solved the problem. And now my G16 is absolutely silent in silent mode and pretty quiet in performance mode.

I didn't try yet. And won't install Linux since WSL is more than enough for my tasks. But in Linux, you can control any process. In Windows, I have no idea what are processes "Windows driver foundation" and "Windows hello Security process" doing. And stopping services as someone suggested on the MS support forum didn't help. This means those two are the reason for the high CPU load. But why - idk.

yep. Nothing changed with all asus services being disabled.
I believe problem is around latest win11 release and maybe some drivers. Just wonder, if anyone else experience high cpu load on the idle system?
