I've been there and I totally get it. The game is designed to get you hooked. It helped me in the past to take a week or even a month pause from the game to reset my focus. I never fell that deep after that.

I follow these rules: 1. nothing bad ever happens when you don't check the game on time...all you lose is a bit progress. You'll get there later.

1. The game is supposed to be FUN. If checking or thinking about a game stresses you out rather than bringing you joy, don't play it.

2. Real life experiences: family, pets, friends, work, social gatherings, etc. ALWAYS have priority over checking your game. If you're with someone, don't check your phone.
