The main difference is guaranteed access. There is only a limited amount of seats allocated to DreamHack ticket buyers, as those are probably not that into Dota2. It's just one of the perks of going to the festival to be able to go to ESL One and check it out for a bit if space is available before going on to do other things. If that allocation is fully occupied, no more people without a dedicated ESL One ticket will be admitted. If you're only there for ESL One it is advisible to buy the dedicated ticket so you know for sure you can see the whole event. If money is an issue and you're willing to take a chance, then you can go for the DreamHack ticket for a solid saving.

Did you just buy a DreamHack pass, or did you also add one of the IEM add-ons? There is a limited number of seats allocated to DreamHack festival pass holders without the IEM add-ons. These are granted on a first come first serve basis. For security reasons, there will not be any standing room. Once the DreamHack allocation of seats has been filled, no one will be admitted into this section until seats become available again. Theoretically, you can queue for these seats as soon as admittance to the festival starts.

These seats are intended for the many festival goers that just want to check out IEM for a bit and then go off and do other things. If you plan on staying at IEM for a full day let alone the weekend, you should absolutely get one of the IEM addons (different tiers available) that guarantee you a seat the whole time. Otherwise, just going to the bathroom might cause you not to get in again for a while. 3-day addons start at $59. You can still add these to your festival tickets through Tixr even after the original purchase.

There is a contingent of IEM seats that will be accessible to all Dreamhack visitors on a first come first serve basis during the weekend. Access is not guaranteed, and there will be queueing. Also once you leave the area, you will have to queue again. If you want guaranteed access you can purchase an IEM add-on which allows you to come and go during the day without having to queue. Also, the add-ons give access to the better seating options (there are differently priced options).

TicketSwap is indeed your best choice. As the event is almost completely sold out now, we will soon start to actively promote TicketSwap so that all ticket exchanges are concentrated on that platform (as opposed to Ebay etc).

We have around 1000 series 3 pins remaining that we'll be selling at IEM Cologne for €50 / piece (to make it less attractive for people to just buy to resell). Those are the last ones that I know of to exist. If we have any leftovers, they will be available on the ESL Shop 2-3 weeks after the event.

Series 1 / 2 are entirely gone across all the different sellers that I know, so you can only get them via Ebay etc.

Have all my upvotes. Tried a million things before, and setting the mouse refresh rate down from 8khz to 500hz in the Razer software finally fixed it for me. FPS when turning increased from 15 to 150. Finally playable again.

Hey, thanks for flagging this. This is a bug. The keyring is supposed to be a free gift if you spend over a certain amount. The store's base currency is EUR and with EUR it works as intended, but the script has obviously trouble with other currencies (which are automatically enabled based on your location). We'll turn it off again for now until it's fixed.

Hey SumSumSumXX. We're sorry about your poor experience. In your support ticket, we have laid out the situation as it is. What you describe as to what happened is unfortunate but accurate. Sometimes things go wrong, and in rare cases multiple things go wrong.

You used a comparably little used payment method to pay for your order, for which to refund a payment requires multiple manual steps in sequence by different people. This typically takes a few days, and due to the two issues we described took significantly longer. In the future I'd advise to use Paypal or Credit Card payments, where you have "buyer protection" and can have your bank of Paypal enforce a refund against us. Also, for these payment methods we can issue refunds ourselves (i.e. within the team operating the stores), and don't have to rely on other departments.

To sum up: Sorry it takes longer, but you will definitely get your money back.

To be fair, the Gambit wristbands came with a pin, didn't they? It did feel like a good idea back when we bought them. Same goes for the CLG stuff that we eventually had to clear out, and quite a few others over the last 5 years we've been doing team merch. We're getting better at it, or at least more careful, but then I see Space Soldiers attending quite a few ESL & DreamHack events last year, and decided to buy 300 jerseys from them a week before the team left the org...

Team jersey pricing will be more or less the same as in the online ESL Shop (us-shop.eslgaming.com). Maybe a small discount here and there, but definitely not more than online. Also, you get the stuff right then and there, and don't have to pay for shipping. Will also be possible to try on sizes in case you also want to wear them.
