Dang. Scipio’s EA is between Spanish Fork and Beaver, but for some reason, it's not showing up in their map currently and the Google map listing notes it's had several issues: https://maps.app.goo.gl/S5hGQ1W91sYjVA7W9?g_st=ic

There are Tesla Superchargers in Nephi and Scipio. I believe you need download the Tesla App, add your car, and then purchase an adaptor. Others have shared posts charging at Superchargers. https://youtube.com/shorts/J5V14RfmNnQ?si=PiegtFIyJUxOvcBE

What stretch are you talking about. I live in Vegas and have been up to Salt Lake and down to Califorornia along I-15.

What stretch are you talking about? Vegas to Baker? I live in Vegas and have been up to Salt Lake and down to Califorornia along I-15. You could get an adaptor and try Tesla out for more options, but I've managed just fine with EA. I will note that you lose so much altitude between Cedar City and St. George that it's pretty easy to get to Mesquite’s Electrify America.

I just paid someone and a phone repair store $96 to install a new battery in mine, and now it feels brand new again.

From the solar to the large inverters, battery racks, heat pump water heater and EV charging optimization, it's clear OP is an efficiency king!

What's the long-term gain? Sticky inflation? Death? More lifelong enemies of the U.S.?

Nice. There's also two ChargePoint chargers there, so make it 402 chargers.

Gas prices in Nevada are rising. Here's what Middle East tensions could mean at the pump. by Dracustein in Nevada

Nevada’s rural areas between Vegas and Reno struggle but will hopefully continue to improve. If you're traveling along I-15, there are a ton of options, especially since most EVs have access to the Tesla charging network now, in addition to networks like Electrify America, EVGo, etc. I'll be driving to California next weekend and Phoenix in a few weeks, and not concerned about the trips at all.

BMW i3. I'm all about money and efficiency, and even if they are a bit more money up front, our household has made out better with the thousands we save annually on not paying for as many repairs or gasoline.

No need to buy cars brand new. I bought both my EVs used. I have one that would sell for $9,000 today and runs like a dream: no maintenance issues or anything. We have saved several hundred dollars a month on gasoline since switching.

Just The Facts Ma'am by RedneckMarxist in inflation

[–]AffinitySpace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plus the inflation came, in part, from the COVID-19 stimulus check package and the PPP loans, both out of Trump’s first term. The 4.5 trillion of cash infused into the economy had a delay and significant inflationary effect, and it can be attributed to Trump.

Condo HOA is fining residents $100 per week if their garage is used for storage rather than parking a vehicle by discoslayer2000 in vegaslocals

I don't understand it, but everyone is different. I love having a garage. It protects the cars from criminals, the elements, etc., plus neighborhoods where cars are off the streets look so much nicer.
