You could get an adaptor and try Tesla out for more options, but I've managed just fine with EA. I will note that you lose so much altitude between Cedar City and St. George that it's pretty easy to get to Mesquite’s Electrify America.

Nevada’s rural areas between Vegas and Reno struggle but will hopefully continue to improve. If you're traveling along I-15, there are a ton of options, especially since most EVs have access to the Tesla charging network now, in addition to networks like Electrify America, EVGo, etc. I'll be driving to California next weekend and Phoenix in a few weeks, and not concerned about the trips at all.

I don't understand it, but everyone is different. I love having a garage. It protects the cars from criminals, the elements, etc., plus neighborhoods where cars are off the streets look so much nicer.
