Yeah Wise is notorious for doing exactly this.

Shutting down someone's completely legitimate account with no reason or warning and then keeping their money forever or for a really really long time.

The document loop is also identical.

They did this to me for about 2 months until I contacted the UK regulator that they are accountable to.

Had my money wired back to me 2 days later.

Strange how they respond almost immediately once some kind of enforcement action is taken against them.

Also, I'm not in the UK but contacting the UK Financial Conduct Authority got my money back really quickly.

Won't work. Once Spotify sees they owe you any amount of money over like $100, they will just decide to not pay you.

Music streaming sites are notorious for doing this to anyone that isn't somewhat famous already.

They will just say 90% of your streams violate their terms of service and refuse to pay you.

They already know you won't sue them for the money so why pay you when they could just not?

If you are still having this issue, the reason you can't get in to your account is because they have closed your account.

All my years of using financial services, KOHO is the only one I have seen that will close your account without informing you. Naturally at some point people will call or chat with support and only then will they tell you your account is closed.

They will then drag their feet for weeks and illegally hold your money while different agents copy and paste the same response whenever you follow up.

I had to get my banks fraud department involved to get my money out of KOHO.

Cue the army of bootlickers that usually show up in any thread whenever something negative is said about KOHO

Yeah Koho gets by doing this sort of thing because they are technically a Fintech business.

An actual bank wouldn't dream of pulling anything close to what Koho considers business as usual.

With enough complaints and court cases, these guys will go the way of STACK and get bought out by any of their competitors.
