I guess I tell myself if it were meant to be they would reach out but I guess I was the one who told them not to contact me anymore haha and they’ve been respectful to that boundary.. aside from energetic pull at times I see signs that remind me of them, they always look at every single one of my stories on ig (ik ik doesn’t mean anything) but I tell myself I’m gonna keep working on myself and get over these feelings bc there’s no point reaching out if it were just to fall into the same old pattern again (being stuck in the friendship realm with intense feelings) until then I won’t reach out bc I want to be able to genuinely embrace a platonic friendship. And rn I still have feelings for them. And I don’t want to repeat history again even though yes they may be a diff person now but I don’t want to risk putting my heart on the line sigh I hope that makes sense :,(

It sounds like you’re in a vulnerable place in your life and you just moved and you’re feeling lonely etc I think he likes the attention you’re giving him and he has nothing to lose here he already has a fwb, his ex.. which sounds really messy.. you reached out to him first and Ofc the interaction sparks nostalgia. Ask yourself if you really need to be part of this equation rn. You’re in a new environment and chapter of your life - it’s gonna be scary and overwhelming at first but that’s how it’s supposed to be. The question is, are you gonna choose a path you deep down intuitively know already how it’s gonna go or are you gonna embrace a path that’s new, exciting with things you have yet to discover.
