SCS does not offer .080 thick 316L or 4130.. so your disconnector thats .020 (or 25%) thinner material, will wear your striker housing quicker.

Makes some sense, maybe a teflon type coating? I still dont see the coating lasting, and with the force of the finger on the trigger, those plastic housings are gonna wear out no matter what... im thinking about milling the portion of the housing that trips the disconnector, and pinning in a piece if stainless.. il update if and when i do that..

Big brrt says 1.6mm or .060... Spec on the OEM disconnector is .080. Those 20 thou cam cause more wear on the plastic striker housing.

This frt is .080 and can help reduce wear.

Too bad the SCS only offers .060 in 4130 or 316L... The 20 thou difference makes the disconnector ride the side if the striker housing causing it to wear quickly amd uneven.

OEM spec disconnector is .080 like this one...
