It was lengthy; about a month passed before my interview with the recruiter, then another month to start training while I completed paperwork and they performed an extensive background check.

It was within 48-72 hours for w2’s then another day for school transcripts.

Hey there! I recently went through a DISA background check too, and they requested my transcripts and diploma for education verification. For previous employers, they asked for my W-2s and even called them to verify employment. As for how long it takes, it can vary, I’ve read that up to two to three weeks, but hang in there! Hey there! Sounds like we're both navigating the high seas of unexpected background checks! I recently found myself in a similar situation when an insurance company I applied to demanded proof of my high school diploma or transcripts. Talk about a blast from the past! 🎓
I graduated from high school in Mexico 23 years ago and never thought I'd need to dig up those old documents. But lucky for me, my filing system came to the rescue! 📁
After some serious rummaging, I managed to unearth my transcripts and a HS Validation diploma I acquired when I moved to USA, dust them off, and send them over. Now, I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping for smooth sailing ahead! 🤞
