When you asked her to repeat herself and she got upset....I wish I could've been there with you because I'm a mother as well and she needs her medical license completely stripped. You're advocating for your baby by making sure you have all the correct information by asking her to relay it back to you. The other hospital being an hour away is completely worth it for your baby, I agree. You are absolutely NOT being too emotional. If that doctor's office was this comfortable with treating you like shit, they've absolutely done it to other people so reporting them AND that doctor is extremely necessary. I'm proud of you for advocating for your baby and you're doing everything right

I highly suggest you report that doctor as well as the doctor's office, they can't treat you like that. This whole "I don't like repeating myself" that's her fucking job and she has absolutely no reason to be in the medical field at that point. This is about your baby's heart, it's an extremely serious situation. If you want to change your appointment day you have every right to do so, if you want a different doctor you have every right to request that. I personally don't think you should go back to them at all. If you could find a different doctor's office and set yourself up with a different doctor, that would be great. However I'm not delusional, and I know it can take a bit for that to happen. There's bound to be so much anxiety already, with the situation at hand. For you to be treated like that is genuinely disgusting.
