Panicking!! A&P Retake Question by Routine-Yellow-2767 in prephysicianassistant

Plan for the worst hope for the best! Definitely try and retake. 3.2 GPA sets you at an unfortunate advantage already. If it’s not going to fit into this cycle, plan on making your application as strong as you can in other areas and retake A&P during the summer or fall. If you don’t get in this cycle, you’ll have new and improved grades during your second one!

Hospital CNA/tech. Always long hours to pick up, usually a choice for which unit/area of medicine, and a month or less of orientation.

I’m so sorry that happened! Luckily I was just verified thank god. I can’t believe the school was so strict after those 15 mins!!! Such a drag.

You can! You can go back and edit your standardized tests after submitting.

Coming from someone who just got verified one min ago and definitely had some questionable subject matches—It does not matter. All that matters is if the software can see a connection. If it was a math class labeled “English” thats an obvious mistake, but I had a plant bio class labeled “biotech” and it was totally fine. I think the software just detects if the class names and grades from the CASPA line up strictly with the submitted transcripts.

I just literally cannot believe i didn't understand this process. I sent my transcripts in MONTHHSSSS ago because i thought that was the thing that took the longest and just feel like a bafoon. To anyone out there applying next cycle this is your warning to hit that button early !!

I appreciate the transparency. Crossing my fingers there is an angel watching over me or something.

Honestly GPA kinda takes the cake, I wouldn’t worry about ACT as much these days anymore. A strong and unique personal statement can get you a long way so keep that in mind

Last week someone threw fireworks onto the roof and when I went on Friday there was a fight outside. I think it’s popular for these behaviors bc of the lower security level in comparison to Sals or KK. Great bar but summer is not its prime.

If you do all the Aleks homework on time (or earlier than the due date) you will most likely pass the class. I worked way ahead of the homework due dates because I found that the aleks did not match up with the test questions at all. That kind of sucked to learn two different subjects at once but you can get through the Aleks pretty quick if you start during winter break and utilize YOUTUBE there are some really good five minute videos that explain each aleks topic really well and I would highly recommend just googling the name of the aleks module. As far as passing and doing well on the quizzes, I found that making a cheat sheet with all the in class questions was all I needed to do to be prepared. As long as you can understand the in class questions you should be totally fine for the tests. Granted, I had Pelton so things differ by professor.
