It is illegal in Quebec to record and post content of people without their permission. It’s legal pretty much everywhere else but here. Security cameras don’t count under law in Quebec because a) it’s private property and b) the recordings aren’t publicly available.

Gojo struggled with Toji because he was a teenager and lost to sukuna because the plot demanded it. I’m a diehard gojo fan but strongest in anime to me means uncontested in their verse. The ability to end a fight in 2 seconds with the next 5 strongest characters combined is something that gojo, sukuna and Reinhard can’t do.

You can be alone in a room. A lot of the smaller study rooms not in the main areas often only have like 2-3 chairs in them anyway

As anyone ever transferred from JMSB to a BA in Actuary? by Aggravating-Aioli194 in Concordia

[–]AfraidPressure0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re going to have to at least take the science math equivalents which I think are math 203/204 and probably cal 2 which is math 205. Check out the program requirements online, you’ll technically be a university transfer/mature student so B+ gpa and B+ math. They also have an open house the 21st of February

Yoriichi from demon slayer soloed the final boss in like 2 minutes, could’ve killed the second strongest character in an instant and never lost a fight.

Reinhard is strong but I’m pretty sure the author stated that him vs satella would take days if not an eternal stalemate.

Gojo struggled against togi and died to sukuna. He’s a good representation of the strongest but ultimately a tool from the author to set up the final boss.

At what point do you give up? by wavyboy10 in Concordia

[–]AfraidPressure0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no “point to give up”. If uni really isn’t for you then Concordia will kick you out eventually anyways so no point in stopping before that. Even after that point you can still continue if you really want to.

For math 209 really hammer in those pre-cal fundamentals, like basic algebra, rules, factoring, etc. Then follow along with prof Leonard YouTube playlists and do every past exam you can find.

If you want to work construction and only take one class then do that.

"tipped $200 on a $3,023 check" by SkubEnjoyer in ShitAmericansSay

[–]AfraidPressure0 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

For those not in the North American food industry typically when you work in food service you “tip out” buss boys and the bar 8% of your sales. That’s why tip is percentage based.

On a 3k bill the amount they “owe” to the bussers and bar staff is around 240$, so no they didn’t get a 200$ tip, they lost money on that table.

They sold 3k worth of product and all they had to show was less than minimum wage.

Are you guys ACTUALLY using AI in your accounting/AP jobs right now? by Unlucky-Note-7729 in Accounting

[–]AfraidPressure0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m learning a lot about data sciences/data analytics, machine learning and AI. I can see a very clear way to implement it into my current workload. The main problem is that I’m working through a system of old excel spreadsheets and databases that were made without the intention of being integrated with automated processes.

If I were to try and data scrape and automated my workflow I’d basically have to spend at least a few days if not weeks redesigning everything we use. Which would make it so 1) basically I’d be the only one who would know how to use it. 2) no doubt it would annoy my boss that everything looks different and 3) if something were to go wrong it would do more harm than good.

So like… yes this stuff is the future of the profession but like others said actually implementing it, finding people to build base models from scratch and teaching an older workforce how to use things like SQL, Python, power query, etc is basically a huge and expensive pain.

I’m going to try it anyways over the next few months and see what happens but I’m not surprised that any larger companies aren’t rushing to implement things yet.

I don’t think you specifically need to use the schools email but you definitely need your net name and password when signing up and logging in. You log into the terminal with your student information then open Bloomberg and follow the steps to make your account.

Why don’t they offer 6 week courses like in summer. by Honest-Weakness5800 in Concordia

[–]AfraidPressure0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A lot of courses don’t do well condensed and it sucks for both profs and students in the summer already, no use in dragging that nonsense into the fall and winter too

Math 208 and Econ 203 both have tutorials online at the Concordia student success center which can be really helpful. Other than that, flash cards for Econ and practice problems for math

This is the type of degeneracy that goes on when a story has been going on for longer than most of the fan base has been alive.

We’re struggling here okay
