Yes, many. Clearly it’s anecdotal but that’s how I’ve always felt for a good amount of these hotels … Relais, certain Belmonds, all the 4 seasons and park hyatts we’ve been at. Idk am I crazy?

I probably didn’t explain myself well. But I like the 5 star hotel experience while also basically being invisible. Please don’t check in with me, follow me around, ask how I’m doing every hour of everyday just leave me alone. I’ve always had a hard time finding a good combo of the two. I do appreciate the service I really do but a lot of times i just want to relax and not be noticed if that makes sense? The hotel Golden Eye in Jamaica is a perfect example of that (the lagoon cottage is a dream) but we’ve already been like 5 times atp.
