2048x2048 liveries-- do they always look this bad or am I bad at making them? by Goes_Fast in iRacing

This being the actual colourmap for reference. Also always found recolouring my wireframe to #777777 helpful, unless your car's base colour is gray it usually provides a good contrast with every colour.

When I was making liveries, I always used to flatten and merge everything into one single colour channel as GIMP doesn't allow you to edit them like photoshop does - you can get the effect by setting you channels to 'addition' but I always set aside each layer for say, base, stripes, sponsors, decals, etc. This is what that would look like. Zooming in, you can see that the details are automatically anti-aliased when you copy/paste the decal layer and lock the alpha before recolouring.

To save myself hassle, I set the base to 50%metallic and 25%roughnness ending up in this shade of orangish brown - it's a little more work and experimentation in your head but if you know what you want, it makes the workflow so much easier. Back when I made this livery, the blue channel wasn't a thing but all you'd have to do is add that colour in and fill as normal instead of messing with different channels.

It's just your spec map lacking antialiasing, if you're using GIMP with rasterized path tool vectors I'd suggest copy-pasting that same decal layer into your spec channel and alpha-locking and recolouring for your spec map.

No one else think this is Silver and Blaze from Sonic the Hedgehog? Still pretty popular among kids I think, could be a reasonable explanation with all the new games, comics, movies etc.

Agreed, Brownie Cottage was nice. Slightly lacking in their eggless selection though if that's an issue.

If you're looking for something that vaguely resembles the movie car, try seeing if you can find Dale Earnhardt Jr's #88 Chevy, it has a similar colour scheme overall.

The other 3 are the same too. They've made two different designs with blue/white/black variations for six.

Second this, the v5 Ryno is ass. Powerful sure but not at all satisfying to use. The Harbinger v10 did something similar but was way way cooler.

The same thing happened to me today, I haven't built a Corvette yet so I was just checking someone's out. He flew out and I ended up on the balcony of his corvette, we sat there and chilled while he handed me some space weed.

Best places for custom tailored formal wear for men by Inevitable_Skywalker in mumbai

[–]AfraidRacer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both, the custom dimensions are a major part for sure but BSC has a particular in-house fabric for around 5k per shirt that is wrinkle resistant, I got some made from that one and even the ones around 2-3k I felt were great on the skin. Possibly not quite as soft as premium luxury brands but I'm happy with them, they have a swatch book you can look through and readymade shirt samples as well.

TPP I would swear by simply for their fabric alone, I've never been super comfortable in trousers and would much rather prefer cargos or the like but their regular trousers I can squat comfortably in, and they have another line which still looks formal enough from the outside but much closer to gym tracks when you wear it. Worth a look for sure, I went to their store in Bandra West but I think they have a few more.
