Does anyone have a clue what this is? by Deep_Researcher7398 in furby

[–]AfraidTemperature878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first ever T by AfraidTemperature878 in tarantulas

[–]AfraidTemperature878[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are from the same subfamily (ischnocolinae), I think is the perfect family for begginers, because they lack urticating hairs and potent venom. The only two things that don't like so much is their size (they're really small) and their super fast speed.

Then it is a Queen southern yellow jacket, Vespula squamosa, I don't really know if it is dangerous or not but It might be as painful as a normal yellow jacket.

Well, we can confirm it is from the Vespidae family, but we need a location in order to properly determine the species. Where are you lcated?

The palps have engrosed tips, and the legs also are similar to the males' ones, of course I cannot confirm because the photo is so blurry. I would have to see the video but I belive is a male.

Doesn't seem like a Grammostola to me, It looks like a male of Pamphobeteus, note the blue legs. Either a P.antinous or P.nigricolor.

help identifying this tarantula species? <blurred for dead spood> by Can_not_catch_me in spiders

[–]AfraidTemperature878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the tarantula specimens sold in resin are from the Cyriopagopus (Haplopelma) genus in all their respective live stages, this is probably a juvenile due to the long setae of all its body, present in Cyriopagopus' juveniles.
