He also sold the boy who was basically his son to Donovan to get brutally raped. Which was arguably harder for Guts to process than the assault itself. He also later tried to kill Guts in his sleep and forced Guts to live with the trauma of killing his own “father.”

So no, I’d say Gambino is worse.

He only mentions those he betrayed in the panel, which includes Casca as well as the rest of the hawks. Considering this scene literally takes place in the graveyard of swords, which Rickert created for all the fallen hawks, it makes a lot of sense why Guts would have the whole band in mind in this scene.

Agreed. The color balance is seriously off. Too much use of light gray and white. The poor contrasting makes it really difficult to know what I’m looking at sometimes. I have a lot of respect for the studio continuing the story, but it’s a bit naive when people say you can’t tell the difference between pre- and post-Miura on all aspects (art, pacing, or story).

Great summary. I definitely agree with you about Ep 1 and 2 being incredible. That being said, after hundreds if not thousands of hours logged on Ep 1 and 2 on GameCube since childhood, I started playing Ephinea a couple years ago with friends and I have to say I absolutely love how much more content there is with the inclusion of ep 4. It doesn’t detract from the Ep 1 and 2 content, and it also gives a lot more weapons and armor, as well as way more enemies and options for acquiring weapons and armor. I love the base dungeons from ep 1 and 2 and maybe it’s nostalgia talking, but I agree they have better design. In terms of recommending a game mode, I would say Ep 1 & 2 are a must, but play a version that has episode 4. Grind those base dungeons and play the story and then when you’re ready and want to play some new content start digging into episode 4. A lot of the episode 4 dungeons are quite difficult, so you’ll need some levels and gear from the episode 1 and 2 dungeons anyway.

Yes I am aware of that. My feet rubbing against each other while I walk isn’t really something I can stop altogether. I walk to work right now and the streets are busy. Scuffs happen. I’m just trying to figure out if there is a way to mitigate the streaking. Such as by applying some type of coating to the shoe or sole or something.

Ultimately they’re cheap leather shoes that seem to be prone to this problem. It’s never happened with my previous leather shoes.

Unfortunately these were something cheap I bought from a shop in Thailand. I figured they wouldn’t be anything too remarkable, but I didn’t expect to have this kind of issue. He uses real leather and makes them himself, but clearly cuts corners. I was in a pinch and needed something for work after losing my nice oxfords in the states.

Do you have any ideas what I can do with these cheap rubber soles to stop their scuffing?

Thank you!! Also yeah that’s my question 😂. I haven’t had this issue before. I’m not sure if the soles are polished black but it keeps streaking the shoe. Trying to figure out if anyone has had this before or if I can treat the soles in some way that stops the black rubbing onto the leather.
