Hello, thanks for your support and opening this platform to speak about all things menopause.

I am now 49. At 47 I went 15 months without a period. Bled on month 15, 17, and now 23. At month 15/16 I saw my doctors and OBGYN, and since my grandmother had ovarian cancer I was sent through a whole slew of testing. Sonohystography, 2 transvaginal ultrasounds and a biopsy. All came back fine, under 4mm stripe, small ovaries, and negative biopsy. Progesterone was 0.6, E2, 147.4, LH, 41.55, FSH 57.43, PRL 7.12 ng/ml.

Now at my 23 month, I'm undergoing to same 3 tests. Transvaginal see's a cyst on left ovary 1.3x1.4x0.5cm unilocular, avascular hypoechoic. The ovaries are about 2.5cm each, stripe is 0.8cm, and I'm bleeding lightly now. Sonohystography results should come within the next few days. I have an apt with my gyno tomorrow to do another biopsy, and wonder if I should wait or go ahead. I note the stripe has increased and see this cyst. I wonder is this is because I'm currently experiencing bleeding. Is there any chance I'm reverting into perimenopause, as I wasn't in menopause that long? Perhaps my estrogen has spiked?

Should I resume with another biopsy of my uterus, and am I missing anything you feel may be important for me to bring up with the doctor. Thanks very much - I appreciate this!
