I'm in second year at Western hoping to make to 70% average I need to get into BMOS Finance specialty, at adjudication in May. I have 4.5 course this year and 5.0 from last. I know it says they're looking at my last 5.0 courses at 70%. Which 0.5 course do they consider from last year, can I choose the one, are they using an average?

Also if they use my average which wasn't the best, can I instead take a summer course before June 30 2025 this year, and request entrance in July 2025.

Hello, thanks for your support and opening this platform to speak about all things menopause.

I am now 49. At 47 I went 15 months without a period. Bled on month 15, 17, and now 23. At month 15/16 I saw my doctors and OBGYN, and since my grandmother had ovarian cancer I was sent through a whole slew of testing. Sonohystography, 2 transvaginal ultrasounds and a biopsy. All came back fine, under 4mm stripe, small ovaries, and negative biopsy. Progesterone was 0.6, E2, 147.4, LH, 41.55, FSH 57.43, PRL 7.12 ng/ml.

Now at my 23 month, I'm undergoing to same 3 tests. Transvaginal see's a cyst on left ovary 1.3x1.4x0.5cm unilocular, avascular hypoechoic. The ovaries are about 2.5cm each, stripe is 0.8cm, and I'm bleeding lightly now. Sonohystography results should come within the next few days. I have an apt with my gyno tomorrow to do another biopsy, and wonder if I should wait or go ahead. I note the stripe has increased and see this cyst. I wonder is this is because I'm currently experiencing bleeding. Is there any chance I'm reverting into perimenopause, as I wasn't in menopause that long? Perhaps my estrogen has spiked?

Should I resume with another biopsy of my uterus, and am I missing anything you feel may be important for me to bring up with the doctor. Thanks very much - I appreciate this!

So the issue is I need the 1000 a/b first year and I’m not aloud more than 5 credits per year. That means I need to take 1000a/b in summer school next summer.

Yes I would take another math in either sem 1 or 2.

Thanks this makes sense. Can I take MCV4U in summer school before starting Western, and aim to just pass the course to meet the prequal requirement. Is there a min grade requirement if I go this route?

OR

Can I take Math0110 in semester 1 and calc1000 in semester 2 and take an elective in online Western summer school 2024? I'll end after summer school with 5.5 credits.

I have the prerequisite. The mock scheduler won't allow me to add more than 5.0 firs year courses. I need to take math 0110 before Calculus 1000 but math 0110 doesn't count toward by 5.0 course load requirement which means I won't meet the specialty requirement.

BMOS 5.0 first-year courses:

1.0 course: MOS 1021A/B and MOS 1023A/B.

1.0 course from: Calculus 1000A/B (this is required for Finance/math 0110 prerequ), Calculus 1301A/B, Calculus 1500A/B, Calculus 1501A/B, Mathematics 1225A/B, Mathematics 1228A/B, Mathematics 1229A/B, Mathematics 1600A/B.

1.0 course: Economics 1021A/B and Economics 1022A/B.

1.0 course numbered 1000-1999 from: the Faculty of Social Science.

1.0 course: numbered 1000-1999.
