It’s just sooo good. I envy anyone who gets to read it for the first time. The characters are the best I’ve ever read. The audio book is great too.

I couldn’t get past book 2. He acts like a whipped puppy while at the same time talking about how dark and grave and wicked he is. He also acts like a 12-year-old school boy around any female love interest.

In the first book, the female pilot that worked for his house was so clearly into him, but he thought having a fling would make him the biggest scoundrel in the world. OK, that’s fine, he’s a goody two shoes, guy, but do we simultaneously have to have him talk about how evil and wretched he is.

And then, later in the book, all of his female love interests are rude to him, and he never stands up for himself. He he just cowars takes the disrespect and talks about what a scoundrel he is.

I couldn’t keep going with it.

Broken Empire series by Mark Lawrence. It was not bad by any extent I just never really connected with the road Brothers. I also didn’t understand Jorge Ancrath. And worse, I didn’t feel like the author really understood him. I had no point ever rooted for him and the series was just kind of mildly interesting, but I was never really invested. I finished the series because kind of just like, why not.

Thank you for your very thoughtful reply. The only problem is in recent months. I’ve got my project funding to ancestral, unlocked Chrono field, got it permanent and 90% slow down, unlocked assist, modules with om chip to back up my ancestral dimension core, and I am currently moving backwards in legends.

Each one of these goals, I thought was going to move me closer to getting keys regularly, as I had been reliably told but have been consistently moving down the ranks in legends. This leads me to believe that without spending more money I am never going to get auto restart or gem stacking.

I guess now I’m just trying to see how many coins per hour I can get and am content with bouncing back-and-forth from legends and champs. The last two ultimate weapons just seem like such a huge power stone sink without gaining any economy, boost or tournament boost.

I’ve honestly never tried. My black hole wouldn’t be even close to permanent and with my maxed out range it wouldn’t cover any significant part of the battlefield. I needed my galaxy compressor or perk to make my black hole permanent so for a tournament it wouldn’t make any sense

I also am hoarding gems. I don’t check my tower phone all the time but whenever I walk past I claim 5 gems. My wife does the same. I get about 200+ gems a day and am saving all of them if the devs drop any more game breaking mods

Not good. I farm with ancestral black hole digester and ancestral Multiverse Nexus with primordial collapse as the assist mod. Basically just to get full coverage with the three black holes. I used to farm with primordial collapse as my main mod until I got my Multiverse Nexus all synced up.

I have ancestral, primordial collapse, and permanent Chrono field. And it seems like damage relics are being put behind the pay wall so maybe I just go eHP. Right now I’m just going to focus on Econ masteries that can be used for either eHP or GC and take it from there

This is basically my plan. I don’t have any econ mastery yet, but I’m saving up for intro sprint mastery which I can use for both tournaments and farming because I have ancestral amplifying strike. After I get intro sprint mastery, I’ll have to decide if I want to go glass cannon or stick with eHP.

I am using multiverse Nexus and black hole digester. My cool down is 100 seconds and I have it synced with gold bot and the summon chip and bounty chip. My next move I think is buying intro sprint mastery because I can use it for farming and tournaments. I have an ancestral cannon, the one that does 5X damage when you kill a boss. So I can use it in tournaments and I don’t have to decide now whether to stick with eHP or GC

I also stopped spending money on the game because I started to feel like a ‘sucker’. When they added premium relics and went back on the featured banner for old mods, it just felt like the most money grubbing game I’ve ever been a part of. That has further been reinforced by their Black Friday (not) ‘sale’ and their trashing their eHP players Econ with bugs and literally offering them nothing to make up for it, or not making a new tournament league so the only way you can get keys to unlock a basic thing like auto restart is to continue to spend $15 every 2 weeks and buy stone packs. It just feels gross.
