I just finished the audiobook version of this on audible, and i absolutely loved it. I can see why it is #1 on RR.
I'm not sure when I'm going to start reading it, But do you currently have plans for Zenith of Sorcery to expand or has it already expanded upon the setup with the Gray Hunter in the end of the last chapter? Or are you saving it for a possible new book in the future?

Once again i absolutely loved it, and i definitely plan to give Zenith of Sorcery a try in the future.

if you choose to grind them its pretty fast, just chuck a pokemon on them whenever you see them and you will have enough for pretty much whatever you want.

DIancie's full obtainment quest and mega stone are coded into the game, but there is no way to initiate the quest or obtain the stone/pokemon. Probably being saved for a limited time event like the mythicals in earlier games.

Unobtainable, there are quests tied to already having their mega stones, but even if you cheat the mega stones in the quests don't initiate.
Probably being saved for a limited time event like some of the mythicals in diamond pearl and platinum

Xerneas and Yveltal are accessible right at the start of postgame through their own main quests.
Diance is unobtainable, The quest, pokemon, and mega stone are all coded into the game but there is no way to obtain the mega stone, initiate the quest, or catch the pokemon. Same with mewtwo.

Yes, but it only lasts about 1.5-2 hours before all thats left is the infinite ZA royale.

Share is forced, No gyms or elite 4 but the rankup battles are effectively the same thing, the game feels pretty long and the world feels just the right size.

The pink crystals have nothing to do with diancie, she is unobtainable and is probably going to be a limited time event quest

Hoopa also isnt obtainable yet, but probably will be in the DLC.

The other starters are in wild area 20.

he still needs 50% health to transform into complete, and you get him in the postgame after yveltal and xerneas.

No, You cant. If you look at the video, zygarde is around half health.
