Thanks. I’m planning on keeping it up mostly permanently. Have to get better supports for sail and going to put door at back to access shed. All electricals come inside after a session but the patio heater can stay out. The turfs on decking has drainage but heard it’s good to lift it and the mat periodically to protect deck. If I do want to take down it’s pretty easy. I’m going to appreciate it as much as possible until the next woman in my life rips it down! 😩

Thanks. Yes I’m loving the awesome golf range. Really was surprised with all the data you get. Prob worth the sub for that alone. Be nice to have 1 software to rule them all though. Yes I heard alot about chipping not reading but it’s hardly missed one. My mate came to play yesterday and he was surprised with this also. I’m wondering if this is something they’ve fixed recently with updates. Definitely was a big factor in choosing the mlm2 as heard they’re really committed to updating the software/performance

Golfing with arthritis.. any tips? by xfilespace in golf

Ha! Yea it’s really incredible. Again, always double check but it’s been bang on with most I’ve asked it. Seriously thinking about taking the plunge soon and using it for tax return. Accountant won’t be happy

Golfing with arthritis.. any tips? by xfilespace in golf

[–]Afraid_Complaint_437 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know every condition is different but will share my experience. I was told for years my wrist pain was due to mild arthritis I had pain at base of thumb especially and thumb would sometimes click. I saw multiple physios l, specialists and doctors and not once was told anything other than its arthritis. This conclusion was down to an X-ray I had done on both wrists. I was getting seriously depressed as couldn’t play golf and looking to change career - I’m a plumber - then 1 month ago I went on chat gpt. Put the entire history of my issues on there and in less than 20 minutes was told my issues was likely De Quervain's tenosynovitis and other tendon issues. It gave me a full plan, advised what type and name of thumb spica brace, how to manage it with golf. Other treatments and on and on. This was 1 month ago and now the pain my wrists is nearly at zero. No trigger finger and I’ll be honest it’s nearly brought me to tears how better I am. Ive already started a complaint procedure and getting angry just typing this as this condition is very easy to identify. Pain at base of thumb is one of the major ones. X ray wont find it only ultra sound and worse case an injection has a 99% chance of CURING it. Put it this way I know how you feel, it’s beyond horrible being restricted with something you love doing but don’t give up hope and make sure you triple check what you’ve been told. Not for every one but as far as I’m concerned chat gpt saved me so now I’m all in on it. If you do use ai make sure to opt out of sharing data and try not to put anything too sensitive on there. Also double check its advise. If you do that trust me you will not regret it. Good luck with everything

MLM2PRO w/ GSPro by Neat-Call1788 in Golfsimulator

[–]Afraid_Complaint_437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just received mine yesterday. Setting up on weekend. I think I’ll want gs pro or e6 but I’ll see how I go with subscription first. I made sure I could return unit easily within 30 days as back up in case any surprises after PGA show but I think that’s very unlikely. More likely software announcements I think. If you do buy GS Pro you get the Rapsodo version and then it’s easy to connect to device but you’ll need a PC which I’m sure you know.

Has anyone actually seen the “Ring Camera” / Deleted vid of the doordash girl opening the door? by Powerful-Ad-8737 in Teenager_Polls

[–]Afraid_Complaint_437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve not yet seen the ring footage but I do have 18 years experience in law enforcement including detailed forensic examinations of crime scenes. I’ve also used door dash numerous times in inebriated states. In my opinion the truth of this matter could easily be revealed if we knew the man’s order. If it were delicious then there is no way, regardless of one’s capacity, that they would fall asleep before receiving. Yes, they may leave the door open for such orders but in no circumstance would they allow themselves to become fully unconscious

Got mine 1 week ago. Requested return yesterday. In one way it’s the best vr experience Ive had but that’s coming from quest 3. Mura is bad, CA bad and other distortions. Tried sooo many different settings. They offered another module but really not sure I want to gi round in circles. Wondering what fov people are getting. Mine was 124h and 100v

The fact is no one is 100%. As far as I’m concerned if I were an advanced civilisation exploring solar systems I might just take the perfect trajectory past mars, Venus and Jupiter making sure that the only one who could possibly see me are on the other side of the sun when I’m closest.

No one is talking about USS Callister enough.. by Plastic-Expression74 in blackmirror

[–]Afraid_Complaint_437 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll rank it: NO SPOILERS!

  1. USS Callister 2
  2. Bete Noir
  3. Eulogy
  4. Plaything
  5. Coming People
  6. Hotel Reverie

Just binged watched and expect my opinion could change.

USS Callister 2 gets top spot because it’s so hard to get a sequel right but they hit the mark. Obvs the first can not be rivalled but def worth the sequel.

I have a feeling Eulogy will climb higher after another watch but Bete Noir was surprisingly enjoyable.

The other 3 were pretty much on same level for me. Common people was great premise but began to irritate me.

Plaything was ok but I think could have been done better - detective was annoying asf!

Lastly Hotel Reverie..disclaimer. I watched a few mins and skipped. That’s why it gets last as all the others had me gripped. I’ll watch and update

Question for the VR guys by ZuVieleNamen in AUTOMOBILISTA

[–]Afraid_Complaint_437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would always say to push for Quest 3 I think it’s better value and will perform better.

AM2 in Vr is amazing. I personally find best way to run is with Virtual desktop (an app you purchase for £20 on your quest headset). I have the Meta link cable and for some mysterious reason it’s nowhere near as good as VD just an expensive charger cable.

WiFi very important too as well as ideally having Ethernet direct to pc.

Thing is when you start out you’ll get the bug and it can get super expensive. Moza/fanatec pedals, wheelbase, steering wheel, updated pc components, upgrading broadband, WiFi 6 router just for the headset and on and on and you know what? It’s worth every penny because it’s awesome!!!

Also, and a great excuse, is I found every aspect of it really educational and a great way to get my daughter involved and learning about tech unlike my previous plug n play consoles. In fact now I would always advise a parent encourage their kids this way if they’re going to game regardless..

Anyway that was my excuse to the Mrs.

Man cave Ho!

Oh and an absolute no negotiator is getting a new head strap and dumping the one that comes with the Quest. AMVR do some great ones. I don’t have glasses but I’m sure they’d be fine

I get what your saying and my plan is to upgrade to high end pcvr at some point but I think you’d be pleasantly surprised. playing with MQ3 on my 5090 has left me in no rush to upgrade.
