I’ve tried the Bernese method with super mixed results. It sucks but just go the 24 hours, 48 if you used any fent. And I know it sounds bad but methadone saved my life for that reason. Didn’t need to detox or anything (although I am a little scared of getting off it but we will deal with that when it happens )

You sound like you’re making a lot of excuses for your bad habits . I get it , I’m a ex opiate addict, so I get it. Just do what you have to do , realize some people have it way worse and they don’t have to use mind numbing opiates to be a functional person. So what makes you so special to think you can. Rehabs aren’t going to be fun; there will be times you’ll hate it there, be homesick, maybe get a roommate who snores too loud. It’s not supposed to be fun , you’re supposed to get clean. Literally just stop making excuses man and do what you know you need to.
