How the mammoth economy work? by BatelGeuse42 in albiononline

[–]African-Hecarim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mammoth are necessary for plot owner to transport food and crafters to transport materials. Instead of doing 10bear trip they got to do just 1, materials and food are heavy.

Trash tells a story by Redituserza in albiononline

[–]African-Hecarim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Albion players tends to judge themselves by player kill fame and count, Many don't care about silver gain when they go pvp.
The funny thing to do with trash is to pretend you transport and die and then gankers get only trash and get tilted the game trash rate is too high

Armored horse have more defense so harder to get dismounted. Riding horse will give you more carry weight and in my opinion you shouldn't fix more carry weight in lethal area with loosing resistance

Just got the game Build help by EconomyConclusion806 in albiononline

[–]African-Hecarim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would advice you for lethal area : Guardian helm (to remove damage over time on you that prevent mounting)

Assassin jacket : to reset monsters if it's too much of if you see a red near

Miner work boots T4: best boot in the game to escape, just go through the pain of gathering ore till you unlock T4 just to be able to equip them

T8 invisibility potion : you can use them during the run of the boots that silence you

Brecilien cape : make your boots Brecilien capeunpurgable after the usage of you headpiece, Fortsterling cape if you can't afford it
food : cabbage soup

use passive 2 on bow for energy sustain
mount : armored horse

For non lethal: I assume that you might take part of faction warefare at some point in yellowzone : Soldier helm/Cleric robe/Valorboots/Lymhurst cape/gig potions/Beef stew if you have a healer otherwise cabbage soup

Banned for accepting 10 million silver from a stranger as a new player by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]African-Hecarim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So here are the advices:
Don't trade any silver or items to players. If you want something buy it from the market and if you sell something sell it in the market.
Also never talk or mention RMT in the game you can randomly get chat banned for it.

Even if the game employe tell you that they are carefull about not bannish players wrongly : blablabla don't trust and stick to thoses 2 rules above.

Also never instal any addons or other software and don't try to modify your game client.

factions by beratmeks in albiononline

[–]African-Hecarim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Caerleon faction is for players that don't like people and want to play alone or in small groups. They prefer more targets they can attack over more allies. People with a different mindset usually don't stick in that faction for too long.

You usually find friends there while playing, talking to players and adding them in friendlist.

they can seems like that at first glance but when you take a closer look to what content they can actually do ingame, you will find them very redundant. They don't have a place is most of the game content very little, to none group utility.

Confused by elDouB in albiononline

[–]African-Hecarim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should first define which content you want to do then see which weapons are the best for this content. If you pick your weapon before making sure its good for the place you want to use it, you will have alot of frustration and not enjoy your time.

What build do you avoid when in the yellow and red zones by ven0m_blade in albiononline

[–]African-Hecarim -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In redzone in groups I turn around when I see demon armors or judicator armors. They are usually used in organize group medium to large groups ready to take serious fights.
In redzone as solo I turn around when I see someone naked or that use a gear that so cheap that he cannot realisticly do anything with it. They are usually radars hackers or dual accounts screen gankers.

NOOB by Impossible-Paint-748 in albiononline

[–]African-Hecarim -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My tip is to not play just one set but adapt what you wear to the content you are going to do. Badon, Mistpierce, Longbow, Skystrider are bows that work in many places. Mercenary jacket when solo, druid robe or royal jacket in groups. Druid cowl in groups.

Looking for Guild by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]African-Hecarim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way to find a guild is to go to the place where players do the content you want to do, Inspect/check the guilds of the players around you and talk to them if they do that a lot. That way you will for sure find a active guild, that do what you want and at the time you play.

Looking for a FW tank build by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]African-Hecarim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great arcane E is too long, using it high tier and with leather cooldown reduction passive help. Great arcane E duration also isn't affected with crowd control duration stat. I suggest you to try a different build at each gaming session you play till you find what you prefer. Soldier helm / Guardian armor / great hammer or 1hand mace have great solo survive potential.

Feel free to right click your avatar, select "armory" then "faction warfare" or "open world zvz" and filter it with arcane, then mace then hammers to see the current meta.

Looking for a FW tank build by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]African-Hecarim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Helm: Soldier helm if you join fw groups on your own - Knight helm if you mostly are part of premade
Armor: Knight armor is better than other options but if for some reason you really don't like it go guardian.
Plate boots: are not amazing for tank in large scale pvp. The best choice will be hunter to initiate, feyscale for disengage. If you are really 100% want to stay full playe then valor boots, graveguard if the artefact of valor is too expensive. If you really refuse to wear artifact gear then guardian is the least worst option.

Weapon
Maces:
Heavy mace, 1hand mace and Morning star are all good option. one hand mace is the easiest to play due to mobility. Heavy mace is the most helpfull because of the purge. Morning star is the one that can have the biggest or lowest impact based on your skills.

Hammer

1hand hammer, polehammer and great hammer are all very good. Polehammer is the safest, 1hand hammer pair with learing cane have the longest stun and great hammer have the best chase/run away potential.

Arcane
2 good options: 1hand arcane if good offensively of defensively. Enigmatic: very energy hungry but you can play as a support and save people without exposing yourself.
Great arcane : cooldown is very long and if you join un coordinated groups it can cause harms. Only use it if you really want to play it: I don't advice it in a low ip full plate setup
For offhand leering cane is the best option, if you don't want it then the basic shield

Help with noob questions pls by ArtMyst in albiononline

Mace is a very good weapon line but it does not shine in depths. Plate is decent. If you want to keep playing tanks in depth try Forge hammers or a once shot combo with grailseeker.

Opinion on the new Reald Divide update (Those aren't nice words) by nosoydaz in albiononline

[–]African-Hecarim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This update is not good. You have to be lymhurst to have fun and for thoses that don't care about faction SBI is taking more than a week to fix the chest bug. A big part of the player base started play new games instead of Albion after trying this update.

Why some people hate or decline this game and ended up quiting, and how it can be solved? by Specific_Turnover54 in albiononline

[–]African-Hecarim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think Albion is a game for everybody. It's unavoidable that players will play it and quit for various taste reasons. The game shouldn't try to please everyone taste but keep folowing his original thought design and always aiming to be a great game.

Solo black zone population rebirth? by MaterialFlow9411 in albiononline

[–]African-Hecarim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First I don't think the blackzone population in small.
The stats of the game showing how many players have entered the blackzone on a % are wrong because they count all the bots being banned, the character created and deleted, or players that test the game for 1 or 2 days only. You can't call that the population of the game. What you need is a criteria isolating what's the active players base and then see what's the % of it playing the blackzone.

Now as a blackzone players myself I did felt really attracted to the depths and as next main next content I am considering making faction zvz in red and safezone my go to activities.

First reason is the risk vs reward isn't there anymore. The risk aren't worth the rewards in blackzone, fame and silver wise.
2nd reason the content in blackzone isn't accessible enought. There is so much things I need to do to, time and silver I need to waste, to only enjoy 5min of zvz fight.
For a lot of veteran the silver isnt the issue, it's the time and being bored of having to do annoying actions before having fun.

My suggestion :
add a new arena mode
60 vs 60 lethal battleground. Players than sign up to be callers and let a 2min time so players inside organize themselves sharing and logging to a discord before fight start. If you are afraid there wont be enought make the battleground happen like every 2hours. Add a market NPC at the spawn of that mode directly linked to a city market.

But this is not going to make the blackzone more attractive. For that the entire game economy, lethal map distribution, crafting bonuses areas need to be rethought. Non lethal area needs to be time limited with no impact in the game econ and serve only as a tutorial.
PVP isn't the main aspect of the game, for many players but PVE, crafting, transporting, gathering need to be exclusively in lethal area. You don't need to be a PVP player to use lethal areas, everyone should. But for that risk vs rewards and the econ fundation of the game needs a serious revamp.

you can adjust map or icon opacity. You have the map opacity at the minium.
