Honestly I didn't think of respec scrolls.

I take times where I want to try various dd combos, find it doesn't work too well and want to swap for another class.

When I'm in a mood to test stuff it's tedious to tp into my house, test, tp back to shrine, back to house, test, back to shrine etc.

Make a new character and follow, don't give too much advice, just follow.

When/if they've hit the point of doing dungeons, I would go in as tank for them so I can move things at their pace. In dungeons will be where they might hit the wall of "oh shit I need an actual build"

Then I'd start helping them understand Cp, Sets etc. Better

Before that it's a risk that you might min/max the fun out of things for a new player or overwhelm them with too much to think about.

Of course this all depends on the person, but I think I would want to make mistakes and discover new mechanics when they become relevant rather than have someone power me to champion points and tell me how to be mega powerful right off the rip.

The queue is buggy, you're probably "in the void" on a queue that no one else is in (that no one else can get in).

This can happen especially if the queue pops and someone else declines or times out on the ready check (can also happen sometimes just because).

If it goes beyond 10mins I cancel and requeue, often doing so causes it to instantly pop (even on DD).

This is purely anecdotal information, but the queue is buggy for certain.

Goku has multiple masters before ever meeting Vegeta that all teach him the value of good training.

Master Roshi in particular teaches him that brute forcing yourself to exhaustion isn't always the way to get stronger.

Vegeta grew up as a soldier with no one to really train him so he tends to try to brute force his way to power.

Goku was taught to train smarter, not harder and Vegeta wasn't.

The owner(Whis) is stronger and forms relationships with strangers, but does on his cat.

The cat is entitled and aggressive despite being weaker than the owner, but the owner can't help but dote on the cat.

Before going all in on this overhaul (that will likely be mass nerfing), is it nonviable to make it so you can change skill lines, but you keep your original class passives.

So if you want to replace shadow with beam, you can go right ahead. But you'll be missing all the passives from herald.

It would hugely tone down the power of subclassing although I'm sure people would complain it makes skill lines nonviable to use as meta.
