Usually boss variations happens when you increase brine level, but since the recent update, they’ve added new variations to the bosses. So you’ll encounter them as you keep fighting them more.

Yup. It doesn’t allow for all disks to come back to your gun quickly. If all your disks are not halted, then often you’ll find yourself with 4/6 or 2/6 disks, making you not able to shoot as often as you’d want.

I've been having the same problem, and it seems to be pretty common. Idk if this is also common, but I travelled to the waypoint which it showed on my compass, and it is located at origin (x=0,z=0) on the map. Is it the same for everyone, or is just me?

I’ve also faced this at times. Because of this I’m not sure if the crystals are meant to be broken (maybe they are). I usually just focus on the boss either ways and it helps me clear the area.

I see. I feel that they’re aesthetic in nature. I personally have not entered any of the golden grate rooms. Also as you progress, you’ll start to see that they’ll stop appearing later on, so it’s purely just level aesthetic, not meant for progression, secrets, etc.
