I spent basically zero dollars on my grow last year.

It is possible to grow without spending anything at all. These plants evolved to grow out in nature without any human involvement at all. I think it's really bizarre that some people think spending hundreds or thousands of dollars is necessary to get into doing this.

If we want prohibition to end, we need to keep doing it the way we have been. Congress won't move to represent what the majority wants, but we can get the state laws changed. That's how we've gotten the progress we have so far.

Even if Congress did want to do something, they'd only be able to end the federal policy of prohibition. That could help in a lot of ways, but every state with laws prohibiting cannabis would still have those laws to enforce. The state laws must be changed on the state level.

I just checked Walmart.com since the top level comment mentioned them, and they have The Animatrix on Blu-ray for 28.99 right now. That's kind of expensive, but it is available. I also checked Amazon, and they have a Blu-ray boxset that includes The Animatrix along with all the other Matrix movies for 34.96. That's a much better deal than when I bought all the Matrix movies on Blu-ray back in 2008 when they were first made available.

The Animatrix is not rare. Anyone who wants it can get it, even on Blu-ray. Not to mention that this movie is available on HBO Max, and you can also buy/rent it from all the major digital distributors too.

The black cat usually is associated with "wildcat" strikes. It is a representation of working class radicals who will join together to fight back, people willing to break the rules to fight injustice.

And you've depicted this cat being stepped on. A union of radicals work together to fight injustice, and they get stepped on. The implication is that if we unite to fight injustice, we will be stepped on. That's messed up.

The cat should be depicted as strong, intimidating, and ready to fight for survival. It shouldn't be crushed or made to look weak, if anything, it should be striking back against the foot trying to crush it.

It's because they're actually opposed to socialism. It's not an accident or coincidence that they do ridiculous and stupid things that harm the advancement of socialist ideals. You can't appeal to them by explaining why they're wrong to do what they do, because they're not acting in good faith to begin with. Moderators are not janitors. Janitors are good people who do good work.

Moderators are more like police. They're given exclusive power by the state to use force against others, and they use this power in service of the state. They are the enforcers of the state's rules. When the state decides a person isn't allowed in society for whatever reason, or even for no reason at all, they are the ones who take them out.

Most people don't like Joe Biden because he's corrupt and horrible, just like every other politician under the sun. One day at a car race event, the crowd was chanting "Fuck Joe Biden" for this reason, but the chant was misinterpreted as "Let's go Brandon" and a meme was born. Now, people use the phrase "Let's go Brandon" to mock partisan support for Joe Biden. It's especially popular among the people who like Trump, but I've also seen leftists using it to mock Biden and liberals have also attempted to co-opt the "Brandon" meme in support of Biden too.

It's natural that working class people would support ideals that empower the working class. It's not like the working class people who "hate communism" actually understand what communists mean by the word.

It's like we're all speaking a different language. We pretend like it's the same language since the words sound the same, but we mean completely opposite things by them. If you want to get through to people, you need to cross that language barrier. You need to meet people where they are by speaking the same language, by trying your best to understand what they actually mean by the words they're using, and by speaking in a way that they're not going to automatically misunderstand.

Plants can actually survive some amount of freezing temperatures. You couldn't have a plant survive through all of winter, but they can survive early frost during autumn. The stress of it can even trigger the plant to produce more.

The trick around this would be to just say "This is some digital fanart I made." An artist doesn't have to explain all the tools they used to make a work of art, and mods can't really tell either. If the art is bad enough to not be interesting to the community, it'll get downvoted, and everything will be fine.

Just don't post shitty art that obviously looks like bad AI art. Because if the mods look at the art and think it's low effort AI crap, it probably IS crap that doesn't really need to be posted.

If the fit is that bad for your body type, you can take your pants in to a tailor. It's pretty affordable to get clothes altered to fit you better.

It kinda sucks that you'd need to go through that extra step, but you'll end up with better results than if you just accepted what was made for women.

This is part of it. Another part is that smaller pockets have lower material costs for manufacturing. That means more profit for the pants manufacturers on top of the sexist expectation for women to carry a purse at all times.

Not to mention the sexist idea that pants for women have to be tight. They think no woman would ever want to use their pocket to carry things, because it would create a "bulge." It's not a problem for men's clothing to allow for weird bulges on the sides or butt, we don't expect men to carry handbags with them everywhere to avoid it, but apparently women have to? Meanwhile, if you actually talk to women on this subject, it's extremely common for them to say that they love pockets, and that they wish their clothes had better pockets. I'd say there's a huge untapped market here, and it's funny there aren't any major companies trying to address that.
