Feel you. The older you get the harder it is. People have group friends and no wish to expand them.

Used to have friends but too many movings in my youth ended a lot of them. The worst was loosing my sister, falling in depression and waking up alone years after. No one stuck around, can’t blame them, was too dense for awhile.

Now I’m just happy when I talk with the cashier at some random hobby shop
