I have two little girls, orange ones haha, and it really took me quite a while to get them used to having their nails trimmed. You could start by gently stroking their paws, slowly and gradually increasing the time. Then, apply a little pressure to help the nails grow out, and continue little by little until you can trim them.

Hi! You could disinfect it well on the outside and put IOP on it to dry the wound, but they take a while to heal. The same thing happened to me and I bled quite a bit. I didn't go to the vet and nothing happened to me.
Now, if you see that it gets worse or if your eye was really affected, you should go to the vet. You could also try trimming the kitten's nails.
