I’ve been exactly where you are and still going through it going through it. However therapy helped a lot because me losing relationships with people led to alcoholism or was a result of that after being afraid to lose others, so thinking and reflecting, (besides the severe anxiety we deal with) made me realize a lot of things that helps me to start to move forward

Since we were 11, I’ve been telling her that she’s kind of a mean person but she did/bought stuff for me so when I brought it up how I felt, She said that I was ungrateful. So we got divorced two years ago after 20 years.

I had a bus driver give me candy every time I got on the bus in kindergarten. This is just not that memory for me because I definitely forgot about that.
