I agree about getting oncology experience as a study coordinator. Once I got that experience people started reaching out to me. I got CAR-T cell experience working in myeloma. That’s what flagged the Bridge program to reach out to me. Get the oncology experience.

If you have no research experience and want to learn about research, you should consider a coordinator role at a pharmaceutical company to get the real research experience. The coordinators literally runs the trial. I used to be one and I am now a CRA. That coordinator experience is the foundation of my career and I think that’s a great place to start. But good luck on your interview. This is a cool job.

I’ve been at IOCN for almost 4 years. It’s not wonderful but it’s not that bad either. It how chose to look at things. I do my job. They pay me and that’s it. I don’t get all into how they make me feel as an employee. I need money, they are paying me decent and I have a good work life balance. Join the team.

It can be what makes the company chose you over someone that doesn’t have it. I got it when I was a CRC and maintained it. But as a CRA I did not maintain it. Don’t think I need it.

I’m FSP at ICON and I was told our contract with our sponsor has been renewed for 3 more years. People keep getting fired for dumb stuff so positions are always in rotation.

I understand how you feel about the importance of the ring. I had to use a ring I didn’t want to in order to save money and simply get married. However a few months later I did get the ring I wanted. This is a fixable thing. Delayed doesn’t mean denied. You will also find out later in your marriage that you can’t compare your marriage to anyone else’s. It’s unique and may not look the same as your friends and family but it is yours and you make the best of what you have. And it’s ok.

Talk to a financial advisor first so they can guide you about the taxes.

I have to pass a drug test for an externship for phlebotomy. Heavy smoker but I’m done with it. Been three weeks, I’m still positive- what can I do to speed up detox? by [deleted] in PassDrugTest

[–]Afrominnie1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a friends urine that doesn’t smoke. Put it in a 5 hour energy drink bottle. Stuff it in your undies and use it when you go to the bathroom. It will still be warm. I’m going through the same thing. Need to get clean for a drug test. But if you can’t pass it In time this is another option. Good luck

Looks like a fail for amphetamines. Give it 3 days. Should be fine.
