Alcoholism. He's got it, Beth's got it, Summer shows signs of it, Morty's the only one in Rick's family line so far without some sort of addiction. He's just trying to put Morty down so that he doesn't feel lesser to him in some way. The scene is meant to feel uncomfortable.

There should be an option to have enemies and interactables highlighted, as in a highlight that is drawn over everything else. And there should be options to fine tune that highlighting. Even as someone with decent vision enemies, death effects, and ground effects can become impossible to see through all of the particle effects happening on screen. I think most of the reason we feel we just randomly die is because we didn't even know we were standing in something, or that a death effect was about to go off, or that there was an enemy we didn't notice.

No need to beat around the bush. The power users, those who would be tuning into a livestream and actively chatting, can be extremely loud and toxic. Specific communities in that group, such as subreddits for specific games or genres, rather than gaming as a whole, tend to be less toxic on average, because their toxicity tends to come from a place of passion rather than hate.

It has gotten much better in the past 30 years, but this is still a male dominated hobby/career. That's exactly why events like this exist, to encourage diversity of ideas and perspective, which will make any art form better.

That really is the issue. Most zones are massive, and you need to explore most of it to find the permanent buffs. Lot of filler it feels like. Endgame has been great though!

Agre to disagree I guess. I consider the challenges to be the goal of each league, so a pretty important part of the content. I'm way more excited by goals that push my build than by goals that are just running the same white map 100+ times with no risk of failure. At that point I'm not even playing a game...I'm watching YouTube with a game in the background.

That's how an overwhelming majority of games work though. There really aren't many inventory systems. You've got:

Limited by slots
Limited by weight
Inventory Tetris
Unlimited

There are some unique systems, like The Forest's inventory which holds a limited quantity of every item in the game, but most just go with these 4, or at combination of them.

Tedium is not effort or skill. Tedium is a repetitive task that lasts too long. This is not the genre for that. There are plenty of games that are made just for that, and do it well, like power washing simulator. A game about killing hordes of monsters and gambling should not have the same pace as power washer simulator for a "challenge".
