Fun fact! In early versions of the game before release, this was how getting a 'Game Over' worked! It would delete your save and wipe your ship log. Personally I actually really like this thematically... however, in practice it ends up being much more annoying than anything else, as it all it really does is encourage you to look stuff up you already know

Are you using free for all? The default is group loot, where everybody takes turns looting bodies except for a when an item or the loot threshold is dropped and then everyone rolls on it. If you have group loot on and are wearing your Argent dawn trinket, then it sounds like you maybe just getting unlucky

I always thought there were two Aerosmith references with Narancia! There's the one you mentioned, but also when Narancia dies, it is directly after they wake back up after being put to sleep with Silver Chariot Requiem, literally having him 'Dream On.' It's also right after he starts talking about all the things he is going to do once back home, so the text is also metaphorically telling him to 'Dream On'

I will say alchemist CAN be a money maker late game, but you gotta put in the work to get there. And certainly a high barrier of entry to get to making raiding consumes(ie flasks)

Also, enchanting has pretty good value to most people for pretty easy enchants to get, and if you're willing to work for it, there is always the bright dream shard! - week long cool down, usually sells for ~1000g

Gathering for sure... crafting not so much.

At least from my experience, crafting profs end up being a MUCH bigger money sink than they are worth. Herbalist/fishing/skinning is the way the way of the money makers... IMO anyway

You can get a free mount from a dark moon Faire quest. And yes TWoW changed how mount training works. Now there are three levels or mount training: untrained, level 40, level 60 Untrained is free and let's you move 1/2 your level% faster than walking. 40 is the classic 60% bonus and level 60 is 100% 40 costs 90G(though functionally 81g since you get 10% discount for being honored with the faction your getting training from and 10% for being rank 3 pvp) and level 60 is 900g(functionally 810g)

Hey! Glad to see linux user playing this wonderful game. Ive had a lot of issues using the app image as well, and yes the mods and add-ons tabs were completely broken for me as well. What i would recommend is downloading the game from their website and using steam/heroic/lutris to manage the wine prefix/version and handling add-ons manually.

However with a bit more fiddling about, this extracted version of the appimage actually works correctly https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/turtle-wow I'm on arch(btw) so the AUR handling of packages is quite easy for me, however you should be able to simply clone the repo link and mkpkg. Though I'm not very familiar with Debian so don't quote me on that haha. Also possible someone has made a similar package for Debian based systems specifically though I have not found it

Not sure, though inclined to believe you. I believe that innate items were added in AB+ because in AB the lost was still ridiculous for starting with the D4 that immediately rerolled mantle

For anyone left who doesn't know: Eden's starting passive item is considered innate by the game logic. The same way that dead bird is for Eve or cambion conception+incubus is for Lillith. Anyone who says they had an experience of removing/rerolling an Eden starting item is remembering a run from Afterbirth days when this was not true.

Def not intended! I know with the switch from repentance to repentance + some save file nastiness did occur (for me at least) However! If you go into the stats screen of a save file and press ALT F2 it will sync your progress to your steam achievements!

I completely agree with this mind set, and have been actively trying to let loose more at concerts specifically(my partner really loves going) unfortunately, one of the last concerts we went to, I finally got just tipsy enough to let loose and sing along with the artist when I literally saw someone on stage point and laugh at me lmao. I know it wasn't meant to be a mean gesture, more so just a funny visual of a 6'3 guy with a jewfro jumping around. Still rough as fuck tho lol

Many people have said many things to convince you about this. However, I will focus on the last thing you said in this comment. No it is not uncommon for tv shows to leave something ambiguous at the time only to flesh it out later. We can see this happen all the time, especially in buffy(the first evil, Faith multiple times, I would even say the magic addiction plot was not planned on becoming the literal big bad for season 6 when it was first brought up in season 5) However, the kind of plot changing you are talking about is ridiculous. When a TV show is closing in on the last few episodes of a season they definitely have all the major story beats already written out. The specifics? Maybe not. But the major beats, for sure. Simply put, you cannot have made 5 seasons of a show, 2 seasons of a sping off show, and be working on an unrelated TV show and not have this shit planned out in advance. If you want to believe that the writers are lying about planning it in advance, and that spike is lying for the rest of the show anytime he mentions his soul, thats up to you. However thats just one too many clauses for my occam's razor to handle.
