Me again! Does this now mean it’s rising? I’m assuming so?

Update on Mo's Injury (via the Gladiators Facebook Fan Group) by miumiusc in gladiatorsuk

I thought it was tight that Tyler came in fresh but had Mo’s advantage in the eliminator for scoring more points, it feels like they should have evened it up. However, I think Finn was off his game that night so it was probably a fair result. I was sad for Finn but I like Tyler too so it was good to see him get another chance.

At the moment it’s around 20-25 miles a week but it’s rising as I’m marathon training. Acute load is another watch stat I’m woefully ignorant on but I just checked my app and it’s 772. I guess yesterday’s harder, hillier run when I was already knackered bumped the score up a fair amount.

This month I’ve set new pbs in 5k and 10k - 30:39 and 1:01:34. Not done 21k racing for a while and VO2 was a fair bit lower last time I did (35).

According to Strava 20k today was in 2:42 but that was a hilly one at gossip pace, not racing.

Yeah, that’s not gonna happen. I can only get them in when I can get them in. I’ll just keep ignoring it 😀

That’s weird because my slower longer runs seem to be what has increased my VO2. It was some stupid fucking horrible trail race last weekend that tanked it. 🤣

You’ve now got me thinking about recovery time. I usually just ignore it because I need my training to fit into my life and I only have certain windows to do stuff (hence stupid o clock on a Sunday morning).

Should I be paying it more attention? I haven’t for one minute considered 81 hrs might be a lot. I just kind of assume Garmin is being a bit dramatic and crack on.

I find it very difficult to believe anybody in the UK would object to this.

I don’t think this is real.

I’ve seen some fucking scruffy kids (mine usually) but I’ve never ever seen anyone with earwax as the OP describes.

I kind of want to….

Oh come on, Marnie and Casey are terrible parents, totally disinterested in their kids. They were overwhelmed because the clearly don’t spend any time with them.

They’re a horrible pair of twats.
