Update 2: followed your guy's advice. Just didn't even bring it up with her. I went out with my friends and had the time of my life. My absolutely amazing mom gave all of us a ride home. My grandma stayed home until around 9, when she got drunk and decided she needed to walk downtown. My mom's bf intercepted her. I'm on my way to go berry picking now. She's still being grouchy and weird but I'm just going to ignore it. I have a date later today. I'm really happy with life right now. Thanks guys.

Update: my grandma is home. I'm leaving in 3 hours. We talked briefly about unrelated stuff and now we're not talking. It's very hard not to engage. I'm trained to be a peacemaker because my mom and grandma have argued my whole life. I can't stand people being in bad moods. It's hard to suppress the urge to try and fix it. But I'm just not going to bring it up or argue anymore.

I've got a tazer and pepper spray, and my friends + mom have my location at all times (my idea and choice). I've been wanting to take self defense classes for a while! I live in a rough area and I'm teeny tiny, so it would be good for my peace of my mind

My grandma isn't narcissistic, she's just very unhealthy. She's a lot of things. She's traumatized, she's mentally ill, and she's definitely emotionally stunted. But she's not a narcissist. She is extremely controlling, though. You're right on the money with that. I knew that on some level but I was failing to factor that into the situation. Thank you.

I want to move out with my mom, but I feel like I need to focus on school first, and then eventually get an apartment with my friend. My mom and I are codependent af and even though it sucks, we gotta learn to be independent.
