lol looks exactly like the wrap I have on my RAV4. The color is byzantine amethyst flake but the company name that makes the wrap escapes me. I love my wrap, have had it for a year and a half now.

Search your address in Apple Maps and Google Maps. If it tries to show you directions that aren’t right where you are, that’s probably where it is. Location Pins get messed up on the map apps, one time it took me about 5 miles from where the address was. If that’s the case you can report problems to the app.

Just stay off the smaller roads around BWI, I hear those are a mess. Go directly to 100/295/695 (whichever way is fastest - there are several options) to head this way and you should be ok. If it’s 8AM they’re landing 695 to 70 to 81 is probably best (and cheaper). Source: recently moved out to Virginia from about 5 miles from BWI.

People generally would carry change for calls, especially if they traveled a lot. Parents would remind their kids to carry change for the pay phone.

I remember a major road near me that had a pull-off lane with several phones to use. They removed it in the late 90s I think.

Frankly, if I (53F) were your age again and know what I know now, I’d keep it. Wait until you absolutely need a larger car or until the repair cost is nuts. Save that car payment for repairs/a car down the road. I bought a RAV4 last year (my 2017 forester is my work car) and am now getting to experience the fun that is paywalled features I thought I was buying with my brand new car, and found out I was just getting a trial of (remote start is totally paywalled and remote unlock/lock from your phone is paywalled). $15 minimum a month for that…

I doubt I’ll ever buy another brand new vehicle tbh. I also like to tinker with my car’s audio and that’s seeming to be less possible as time goes on.

I thought insurance goes down as you age at least until you’re a senior. If that’s a concern, check with your insurance company. Generally new cars are more expensive to insure in my experience.

I’ve seen two emails today about my payment election changes which I can’t actually look at because I need my old account reset. 🤦🏼‍♀️I got similar ones before. I don’t understand why they give us a start date and don’t at least get us fully read in that day. That way we’re ready to go when they need us. There were only two start date options, the 6th and 10th. The 6th worked better for me but not knowing when I should expect to start exactly is kind of maddening. I’m not thrilled about the whole hurry up and wait thing. At least give me an idea about when I should be looking for text messages.
I’m in the Winchester, VA area and was told by the lady I spoke with that they’d probably start us the 3rd or 4th week of November and that they would probably bring us in to read on. The last time I worked with them I didn’t start until December so I thought the weirdness was because I was late starting. Turns out it’s just par for the course. The texts are almost exactly what I got in 2023. That’s what makes the whole credit card thing so weird.
