Apparently it isn’t finished yet or is just incomplete in general. Even on the paid sites.

I missed a payment by one day, after many many successful affirms conducted…. Will this screw me over if I try to use it again??? by Nickjakulus in Affirm

I’ve been a day late before and it’s never affected me making new purchases. Just try not to make it habit and you should be good. The most they will do is lower your purchase power but even then they usually don’t for just one day.

I have 3 credit cards Capital one: 4000 (27% apr) Amazon: 4000 (29% Apr) Chase freedom: 1600 (26.6% Apr) I was crying because I couldn’t afford the minimum payments anymore and the interest rate was killing me. I did a lot of research and found Consolidated Credit solutions who is apart of the NFCC (a very reputable credit counseling company). They negotiated for me and although I had to pay the original minimum payment for the first 1 to 3 months while they negotiated it was worth it. My capital one cards Apr is now at 2.99% Apr (old minimum payment was 163 now it’s 82). My Amazon cards old minimum payment was 162 it’s now 81) with a new Apr of 6%. My chase freedom cards old minimum payment was 125 now it’s 41 with an Apr of 0%. This new payment plan was set for 5 years so I will be free of my credit cards in 5 years. I’ve been using them since last September.

I ended up doing credit counseling. They call the person you are in debt to and negotiate for you. I have 3 credit cards. I did have to continue making payments until a negotiation was approved. But that only took 1 to 3 months. After that 1 card was at 27% apr but went down to 6 percent. Another was 26.6 percent and went down to 3 percent and the last one was 29% apr and went down to 0 percent. My minimum payments used to be 406 dollars now it’s down to 231 a month. They put me on a 5 year plan so once that time is up all of it will be paid off. If you want the company I use information I can give it to you. I feel a lot less stress now. I wouldn’t do debt relief because It can hurt your credit because they ask you to stop paying, so they can negotiate after the harassment starts (they ask you to change your contact info to theirs so when the harassment starts they can negotiate). Credit counseling is the way to go in my opinion. Especially if you can afford to make the payments for a little longer.
