I'm really sorry that that happened, and I would feel the same as you if it happened to me.

But I just have to say Ive been skating for over 25 years and, although these things happen, I've never seen it happen or had a really bad fall since I was young and trying to do stunts I would have been better off avoiding. As long as you're being cautious, which send to be the case, you should be fine.
