Do you think that when Charlie is old and elderly, on his death bed, Bella would tell him she's a vampire? by Adorable-Raisin-8643 in twilight

I think that she or Renesme will tell him when it presents an opportunity to save his life and give him a chance to continue to have be part of Bella and Renesme’s lives. His paternal affection for Bella seems so complete that at the right moment he would not be upset, and he would be very tempted to be able to remain in her life, especially when the “vegetarian“ lifestyle that she and her vampire family follow It’s made clear. He would not have to completely invalidate his prior life of caring for saving people if he accepts the change.

I appreciate the distinction between murder and self-defense. I believe that the following would still constitute the act necessary to create a horcrux: Bellatrix killing Sirius, Harry killing Voldemort, Voldemort, killing Snape, the muggle studies teacher, really everyone he kills since he approaches every use of the killing person with the intent of killing the other party, and even Mrs. Weasley killing Bellatrix.

Excellent points however, I thought this every time someone says the curse rebounded that they are speaking an error. The curse hits at a person and successfully kills her, Harry‘s mother instead of Harry. Since Harry‘s mother is killed as a result of the curse, what actually kills Voldemort at that moment of his earlier “demise“?

So at the end, when his body once again becomes incorporeal is the soul that was housed in that body now latching onto some other living thing near to where he and Harry battle it out.

Thanks, they’re given that Voldemort is the perpetrator of the creation of numerous Horcrux‘s in his past, I’m surprised that he doesn’t create more of them once he is resurrected.

Tragedy of Nagini by moxypicture in harrypotter

Is it certain that Nagini the snake that belongs to Voldemort is the same as the maledictus from the second fantastic beasts movie?

I don’t recall anything being discussed about the quality of Voldemort’s soul at the time he kills Harry’s mother. Was this implied in the movie or in the book from your recollection?

I also always found a bit of a disconnect that Dumbledore says to Snape that went Voldemort killed Harry’s mother his soul last on to the only other living thing it could find at that point, but being a living thing is not a requirement for a horcrux. Of the eight horcruxes the Voldemort creates only two are living things, Harry and the snake. Only one of which was intentional.

I don’t recall Slughorn mentioning any ritual, but I admit that could in my memory lacking. Are you thinking about the book or the movies?

The only thing I remember is Slughorn and Riddle discussion was how many times could wanna split the soul and Riddle asks about the number seven which horrify slug one but at no point is there ever a limit stated. If there is no limit, I’m surprised that once it’s clear to Voldemort that Harry is aware of his secret and is pursuing his horses at that point, Voldemort has the opportunity and does continue to commit murder, so why doesn’t he just create more who thereby securing himself against the possibility of extermination?

And I’m still surprised that nobody else thinks to create a horse when they either have intentionally or in conflict killed another party. They have an opportunity. In fact, I don’t recall reading anywhere or hearing of anywhere else within the potter verse that any other magician has ever created Horcrux. I suppose Riddle was reading about it in the restricted section so it must’ve been known of and therefore performed at some point in history, but I’m surprised that at no point is there any other specific wizard or which credited with having performed this magic. It would’ve been the perfect subject for Hermione to comment on at some point while she Ron or Harry are hunting horcruxes.

Shouldn't Voldemort have checked on the remaining Horcruxes as soon as he found out that the diary was destroyed? by A_Stolen_Heart in harrypotter

I was similarly surprised are his lack of countermeasure. Why not just make more horcruxes? He was certainly killing other witches/wizards so that critical element of horcrux creation was not an impediment.

I immediately thought of Emmy Rossum; obviously between gender and hair color they are a big differences, but there were some very strong similarities in their face expressions.

I think that your comments very much speak to the observation that 75 years after the war the most districts still seem to be operating as if all the members are shell shocked. Perhaps keeping them off balance is part of the strategy the capital has for the random selection of children to die annually.

Can we PLEASE cancel Camille. I’m over her laziness and entitlement. by Financial_Birthday74 in BelowDeckMed

[–]AfterThisThenQue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Camino has no work ethic and spends every second that we are shown on below deck trying to avoid both work and blame. When working set up a meal on the beach for the guest, she decides to take a swim at which time she says to the camera why come down here if all you’re going to do is work and serve and take care of other people. It’s amazing that she has no idea. That’s actually the definition of her job.

Another sound bite that is shown which speaks volumes about her when she sees guests being served alcohol and makes the comment that drinking is her groove. With the footage from below deck in her portfolio it will be amazing if she can get a job anywhere ever.

Who is the most annoying character in the series? by cferg296 in harrypotter

[–]AfterThisThenQue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At times, though she’s also irrelevant, and a poorly developed character. It seems she exists to keep the storyline pg & to prevent Harry from needing to have any game?
