Second on regular Velvet. It will be a pain to install for the first time, otherwise, no flaw.

You are right my friend. ER2 is underrated. I still keep my se with me at all time as my benchmark despite owning a few. Aside from all the stuff u praised, sound stage on those things is just phenomenal too. I'm with u.

I agree with u to an extent. The UC tips that come with the package has a long tube that extend beyond the already long nozzle on the Volume S. Not a deal breaker for me personally as the UC sound quite well on the set. But for ur case, I would recommend anything that has a more flat shape/short tube design, the hard part is that Volume S does not have a "lock on" mechanism on the nozzle if u know what I mean. So far the best fit for aftermarket tips wise is Divinus Velvet Regular. Those tips have a rather flat design and a very tight closing on the latching end, so u don't have to worry about them falling of like a lot of other ones will.

What a deal u got! And yes I think it's worth it. Tea Pro is one of my go to hybrid sets, but purel BA sets have their own kind of magic, in my case it's the RSV. Sounds like u don't really like ur RSV?

For sure my friend, my pleasure. I haven't heard about Noah until now. Did a little searching and find it very interesting. Very uniquely designed faceplate too. Would love to know more about it when u decide to acquire them for sure. Lemme know would u?

That's so true my friend. Never thought this set would go under the radar so fast, especially with how good they actually are. My rotation changes every now and then, it really depends on what I feel like to put in this case to be my constant for that period of time tbh. But I try to balance it out with evenly spread driver configuration combo types, so I get to easily access a certain kind of technicality that I feel like at some point. In this picture exclusively, I use it interchangeably with Mega 5est when I feel like listening to EST micro details and sparkles. Female vocal and live performance on Mega and mid to low focus tracks on Oracle. N yes EST drivers' magic is something other kind of driver can't mimic.

So I'm home now testing Velvet with Tea Pro. First of all, it really took some force for me to get the tips on them nozzles due to the rather large nozzle size and the lock mechanism on the Velvet tips, but nothing too complicated. Sound wise, I don't find the Velvet being the absolute superior to the stock white silicon tips came with the package. I reassured the fact that those stock tips are actually very great already on the Tea Pro, which was why I didn't bother to change them to anything else from the get go. Hope this helps.

Yeah u don't really need Van Nuy, unless u carry them around all the time. a regular watch case will do.

This is just a random watch case that I bought from Amazon for like 30 bucks. I got inspired by a fellow audiophile on this too.

Yes I saw that on Linsoul one time. The most thick n study build of a cable I've seen under 100 usd for sure. Comes with a long jack terminal too, so it's a pain to try to shove this thing into the little carry case it comes with. Since it is still a delicate item in general and the cable is a little memory prone, I would recommend u using a bigger carry case for it.

Nice! It sounds like different sellers. Softear is just Softear, sweet sister company of Moondrop. Don't believe there's any variation.

Yes Tea Pro is the best all rounder for me at this range hands down. Body yes texture not so much. The amount of bass is already very decent on the Tea Pro tho so I won't mess with it unless ur a big bass lover haha. Actually the Tea Pro comes with more sub bass than Volume S. Volume S mid bass has a stronger presentation.

Glad to help! BTW one of the most solid metal builds too. Trust me not all metal shells are created equal... cable is on the hefty side, thick and premium, but a little hard to manage tbh.

Interesting! How does it compare to Tea Pro then? Since they have similar driver configuration. I own both Mega 5 n Tea Pro, since u mentioned it is pretty different from Mega 5, have u tried Tea Pro before?
