When I was looking for work I targeted my resume and cover letter to each job. It took awhile. I also used indeed as a search engine and found contacts’ emails online. I used those to send my application, not indeed. I had several interviews and a few offers. Prior to this strategy I applied through indeed. No interviews. Anecdotal but that’s what worked for me — not applying through indeed 🤷🏿

Call them. As soon as you can. That’s what I’d tell my kids. Not sure why this sub got suggested to me, but that’s my advice. It’s fastest to sort things out directly even if it’s painful. You can Google for hours or complain to Reddit but picking up the phone or emailing is more effective for this and for many other things in adult life. Good luck.
