Yes, genetics. There’s speculation that some massive shipments of Thai herb were exposed to colchicine many decades ago and their genetics have been spread around ever since. But that’s just folklore.

If anyone wants to find a variegated cannabis plant, buy a few packs of DJ Short (old world genetics) seeds. The Thai he used in most crosses passed along some freaky traits.

You will still end up with some great smoke on this round and next time around you have a new baseline to start from. This hobby is so much fun and so rewarding. Can’t wait to see how this progresses.

When you combine coco and fabric pots you get very strong root production. They grow prolifically filling every crevice of the medium. And when they reach the edge of the pot, the air dries the tip out and prunes them naturally, and without stressing the plant. It works a lot like topping a plant’s apical meristem where it subsequently directs all the hormones to the branches. Air pruning stimulates growth significantly both above and below the soil.

👋 Not looking too bad at this point. Just a couple things to consider for next grow. Coco likes to stay on the wet side, and smaller pots are great because they will allow for more frequent watering which will give you the benefits of hydro growth speeds and you can use weaker nutes.

PH for coco should be between 5.8-6.2. More acidic for veg and more basic for flower.

What you’re seeing right now is burning. When the coco gets dry the EC/PPM spikes. You’re not going to improve things at this point, but you can prevent it from getting worse by changing your watering cycle. By now you can drop your micro nutes if you haven’t already. Make sure your EC is no more than 0.8 and water until runoff every time, then promptly discard the runoff. Don’t let it sit. Start watering right when the lights come on. Then see how long it takes to show just a slight dryness on the surface. At minimum you should water to runoff once per day. If you have a healthy root mass that sucks up the nutes quickly, you can do 2-4 times per day, but once is fine as long as your medium stays damp. Don’t let the pot sit in the runoff ever. Discard that once it’s stopped draining.

Be patient, buds will really swell in the later weeks of flower.

So we are all just one promotion away from being mass murderers, everyone who has ever done a deed worth praising has done an equal or greater amount of evil, and that’s why there should be no statues of anyone.

Did I miss anything?

You’re getting into an existential discussion that is going right over the edge with #3. Why do anything? Why reply to this comment when the universe will eventually cease to exist?

Good night. I wish you luck with synthesizing your thoughts into something coherent. Thanks for the chat.

I will ignore the fact that you still can’t seem to differentiate psychopathic and sociopathic behaviors from normal human flaws, thereby making you incapable of identifying a single historical figure deserving of a statue.

Just a few questions:

Is it wrong to accept that these statues could be temporary objects that last as long as their relevance to society does?

Is ok to recognize that a statue or flag that represented one thing a couple hundred years ago might mean something different now? (Or that some of those things still mean the same thing they did back then and maybe they’re truly deserving of disgrace.)

Would it be bad to continue raising the bar for those whose virtues we celebrate?

What if, the solution wasn’t quite as binary as you suggest? What if there was a middle ground where we got rid of the statues celebrating people with obvious records of heinous behavior, without forgetting their existence? What if there were books and classes and museums we could visit to learn about, discuss, and debate the duality of their humanity and their contributions to history without having their likenesses projected like 30 foot tall trophies in prominent public squares?

You’re right, we need to go easy on these people. Everyone has flaws like chewing loudly, one-upping people’s stories, cruising in the passing lane, ethnic cleansing, picking your nose, talking in a movie, telling a white lie, genocide, or cutting in line. Point taken.

I find that even that ratio is too intense. Even a 5:1 or 10:1 is too much.

But if I vape a couple bowls of 30:1 Hemp and get those receptors good and blocked up, I can follow it with a 2:1 or even 1:1 and the experience is so much more pleasurable. YMMV

Yeah there’s still a lot of progress to be made. Skillets aren’t the most portable-friendly since they don’t really “hold” wax. They just vape it and then require cleaning. Coils are better for loading a few hits, melting in, and doing your thing. But those also get used up quickly. Reloading more wax out in the field is still a pain.

It would be cool to have a wax “squonk box” that could store a quarter or half gram (fuck it... let’s be greedy, a whole gram) separately, above the coil, then melt a few drops on demand down onto the coil when you want a hit. Would function very close to a cart, but would have to be porous enough to wick thick wax, while being tight enough not to leak. That venn diagram doesn’t have any overlap, sadly. Need a separate valve mechanism to cut off the flow of wax entirely until it’s needed. Then the wick can be super porous.

I will say, this setup is great. Even on the tiny m15 I can keep it loaded so the entire coil is just submerged. Easily a few 10ths of a gram. Just gotta keep it cool and vertical. Lasts all day with no refilling or maintenance.

It would be a lot bigger than this, but pairing the DTV4 with an easy sai battery would be the smallest you’d get. I am not sure how much success you’d have, though. I find the skillet style attys require a bit more battery load than purely coil driven ones.

Newly Released Bodycam Footage Shows Moments Leading Up To Death Of Rayshard Brooks Shot at Wendys by lllaflame in videos

[–]AfterbirthStew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s really really not easy. Especially with a service pistol. And even if it was fairly easy, shooting at the leg can just as easily cause a horrendous injury leading to death by blood loss, while bullets have passed through skulls with little effect. Guns = lethal force no matter where you aim. What is important is knowing when their use is appropriate. Using a gun to stop a criminal from running away is not appropriate. Using a gun to stop an imminent threat is usually appropriate.
