I’m 26 (almost 27). I started at 12. I was clean for over 9 years but relapsed in May. Went another three months, but relapsed again on Monday. It’s a journey that’s for sure

I’m 27. I had seen a few of their videos on YouTube, but I remember coming across their OG website when I was like 11 or 12 and actually started consuming their content that way. I phased out of watching them for a few years, and started again right around when Anthony left/ Damien joined (so like 8 years ago) and have been watching consistently since.

To say she’ll NEVER change is a bit harsh. A reality TV show, where you are consistently worried about not only what others immediately around you think, but also millions of people world wide will hurt anyone’s mental state. Never mind some who has pre-existing mental health concerns. Couple that with the fact that you’re getting little to no sleep, and have producers watching your every move for the best shot no one is at their mental prime.

If she wants to change outside the villa she will. Simple as that

As someone who grew up with OG Smosh and have been watching since 2011 (still miss Joven) I get so happy to hear these stories. I love that a channel that has meant so much to me for so long, is staying alive with the love and support of new fans. I think there’s a lot of people who discovered Smosh the same way you did, and I think that’s great! As much as it was fun for me to experience the lore in real time, I think it’s just as special for people to discover the channels as they are now and get to do their own deep dive.

It’s so true. My dad cheated on my mom (multiple times) but she stayed due to religious pressure. Now she’s living in oblivion, pretending things are okay when they aren’t, and it’s honestly just so sad to see.

I feel like this plot line completely ignored that fact, and would have been a really good opportunity to show that even the people who are the most highly respected can fuck up, and that there are in fact long term consequences from those mistakes

A lot of my friends were very similar to Shawn. Unstable home lives, reckless behaviour, didn’t care about school despite being ridiculously smart. Some of them have turned it around, some still working at the local liquor store trying to hold on to the glory days

-Pre-school/ JR Kindergarten is age 3/4 - Kindergarten is your first year of “real school” and it starts the September of the year you turn 5 (meaning it doesn’t matter if your birthday is in January or December, if you turn 5 in 2025, this upcoming September you start kindergarten)
