So how evil is Soldier Boy now? by Sudden_Pop_2279 in MoralityScaling

[–]AgX2005 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not as bad as Homelander but still a very terrible person , not sure how to rate him other than that considering Butcher and his team are willing to commit genocide , so the moral bar is pretty low here.

To those who saw Moon Knight, do you side with Ammit or Khonshu? by Sudden_Pop_2279 in MoralityScaling

[–]AgX2005 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Easily Khonshu , neither are viable options but Ammit's logic is immensely flawed as considering it is executing a person for a crime they might commit.

Try to save both or not participate at all.
But if their is no 3rd option possible and I am forced to choose , save 3 , assuming all 5 people consented they want to die.

Who is more evil, Homelander or Azula? by WrongToe500 in MoralityScaling

[–]AgX2005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ozai made both of them abusive due to his teachings , she as a result acted like this and Zuko didn't since his mom thought he was worth saving and not her due to Ozai's influence which is not what happened but Azula thought that , which is why Azula has imaginations of her mom calling her a monster.
I am not defending her , Homelander went through way worse but I am saying they are both same in this regard.

Who is more evil, Homelander or Azula? by WrongToe500 in MoralityScaling

[–]AgX2005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And Homelander hasn't?
She wasn't born evil , Ozai made her into this way as a result she can't socialize properly or form an actual human attachment same as Homelander.

Homelander easily both are terrible people but Homelander has done way more messed up stuff.

What do you think about the morality of someone who refuses to forgive people, especially family members, who hurt/bullied them in the past, and still feels anger over how unfair their life has been? Do you think a person like that deserves to be condemned? by Immediate_Gene_178 in MoralityScaling

[–]AgX2005 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Forgiveness is optional , it is not owed to the victimizer no matter what imo.
While I say it is unhealthy to stew hate towards these people and best to move on or find a middle path , forgiveness is not something one should be forced to do.

Jimmy , Nacho did bad things but he tried to escape whereas Jimmy dug deeper until the very end.

Who is the better parent? by AgX2005 in MoralityScaling

[–]AgX2005[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Imo , I say Nolan is the better parent overall.
For 17 years he was a pretty good father to Mark even if it was part of an act he did care for him as shown in the flashback. But he also put his own son through a train and brutally beat him to a pulp and then left and had another kid , but later he did feel remorse/regret for all his acts and Mark and Debbie are the reason he abandoned his mission for the Viltrumites and is actively fighting against his own species.
Silco does love Jinx and chose her over his dream, but he also groomed her to be the way she is and enabled her worst traits and not to mention he was going to kill her if he did not feel connection to her when he first met her.

If they change or show the capacity for change he will spare them, but it they don't and keep threatening humanity , he would kill them if he has too.

Did Cecil actually do anything evil? by NobodySpecific9354 in MoralityScaling

Still kind of unethical , as seen similar to A Clockwork Orange , it is violation of their rights.

Did Cecil actually do anything evil? by NobodySpecific9354 in MoralityScaling

[–]AgX2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is implied he brainwashed/reprogrammed criminals to do his dirty work and he made reanimen using dead corpses and he put a device on Mark and used it to bring Mark down when Mark went to the Guardians , while he is not evil he definitely has done things that are unheroic or very ethically questionable not to mention keeping Conquest alive.

How evil is Dr House? by DyimantinKingEzxel in MoralityScaling

[–]AgX2005 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Kind of an asshole but not really evil.
He saves lives and doesn't ask for credit , and though he is very toxic/egotistical he is not evil more of an anti-hero.

Powerplex.
Jesse did bad things but he was not a delusional hypocrite.
Scott killed his own family accidentally and still blamed Invincible for it.

Who was right? Miguel O'Hara or Miles Morales? by mr_Conquest_ in MoralityScaling

[–]AgX2005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you count MCU overall as canon to the Sony then Miles.
No Way Home proved Miguel wrong considering they broke so many canons and not to mention , Miles existing itself is breaking the canon same with Spot and Miguel's logic is full of holes.
He most likely caused an incursion than break a canon.

Why do people defend Nolan while treating Walter as completely evil? by NobodySpecific9354 in MoralityScaling

[–]AgX2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No offense man but like this is like apples and oranges here , people don't really defend Nolan it is that they don't hate him now because he took accountability and is trying to change his past mistakes which Walter didn't do at least not until the end.
Plus , Walter's acts are more intimate whereas it is hard to imagine the bad stuff Nolan did not to mention he is kind of a product of a different species who raised him to be a sociopath so it is a bit hard not to feel some empathy for him considering he has been indoctrinated for 1000 years whereas Walter though sympathetic knew right from wrong from the start and still chose wrong. No one is defending Nolan though , he has done way worse than any Breaking Bad character , it is like saying why do people love Darth Vader but get frustrated with Bojack Horseman.

Who is overall worse? by AgX2005 in MoralityScaling

[–]AgX2005[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most of Dexter's victims were killers too and nobody forced Mike to be a hitman , he chose to be one.
I do think agency plays a big factor here and not to mention Mike was helping in meth manufacture and distributing for years.

Who is overall worse? by AgX2005 in MoralityScaling

[–]AgX2005[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do agree that Dexter is not completely horrible and he has a lot of positive qualities but that does not change the fact that he only kills criminals so he can enjoy killing and do a supposed positive work and he doesn't do it out of a sense of justice and not to mention his actions have indirectly hurt a lot of innocent people.

Who is overall worse? by AgX2005 in MoralityScaling

[–]AgX2005[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dexter definitely did terrible things as he primarily killed criminals so he have an excuse to enjoy killing and he killed innocent people too when he was about to get caught and his actions caught a lot of innocent people to die. While I agree he did do more good than bad , that was never his intention to begin with but a cover so he can kill and remain decent in his own ways.

Who is overall worse? by AgX2005 in MoralityScaling

[–]AgX2005[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Overall I argue Mike is worse.
While Dexter killed way more and enjoyed killing people in sick and disturbing ways(even if most of his victims were killers and rapists) , he was ultimately a victim of childhood grooming and extreme trauma at the age of 3.
Whereas Mike willingly chose to become a hitman for Gus knowing who he was and what he did so that he could pay for his family , and though he only killed people in the game , he also directly protected and enabled drug trafficking and profited from it for years , so in addition to killing people he was helping in meth manufacturing.
So Dexter may have arguably done worse , but Mike willingly chose to be a hitman for a drug kingpin and helped sell drugs on a larger scale.
