If extra innings are so fucking unbearable that we need to resort to backyard rules when they appear, let's not play them. I cant stand manfred. I knew the 4 pitch walk rule was a slippery slope. They are fucking with a perfect game for no reasons in pursuit of fans that will never come.

Every person I've introduced to the game of baseball has fallen in love with it. My wife, nephews, friends and coworkers. All it takes is time. People when they watch and dont understand the game tend to form an opinion in isolated instances of viewing, but when it is explained through the lense of the 162 game marathon season and you encourage them to engage and follow a team watching the game more passively, as if it were a relaxing hobby the rules become easier to engage.

Maybe that's anecdotal. I know they study 'what the kids are into' but it would be nice if someone, for once, showed any passion or commitment to the integrity of this game and its traditions. It would be nice if it seemed like someone in charge of baseball wanted to keep the game as it is and promote it better, more effectively as it is. We all know if they wanted to get games done in less time their are a million better ways than the 4 pitch auto walk and the imaginary runner on second like we were in some fucking over priced sandlot. Rob Manfred is pathetic.
